Life gave us a lemon and we ???

Many of the barbers you see at Regal Barbers worked at a seemingly well-​established barbershop in downtown Vancouver and were living a comfortable and rewarding life. They worked hard and long hours for years to develop a clientele, a following.

Their life started to crumble when they were told to gather their tools mere hours before the shop closed its doors permanently. Years of hard work were erased in a moment, hundreds of clients cultivated to build a rapport… all lost.

Amar led the charge for the jobless barbers to shift the focus from looking for a job to creating one. The fact the group lacked the necessary financing or the know-​how to negotiate leases, obtain building permits and licenses or manage a business was not going to prevent the dream. Five months of hard work and creative cooperation paid off with luscious lemonade!

Selecting the right barber ranks as high as selecting the right doctor for most men. That is why some people would rather wait weeks for a haircut if their trusted barber is on vacation. Amar is fully aware of this emotional attachment as he hears it repeatedly from his clients.

Amar was literally born with scissors in his hands. His father owned a barbershop and Amar was drawn to the business as a teenager. Twenty plus years later, Amar is still as passionate about men’s grooming as ever.

Amar has groomed thousands of thrilled clients and many celebrities. When it comes to straight-​razor shaving, there aren’t many barbers in Vancouver who could come close to Amar’s exceptional skills.
