Essence Laser Spa

I came here for a haircut and highlights and Mani was my hair dresser. She’s a young girl, talkative and friendly. Overall i was satisfied with the results. The place is small and there’s a section in the corner used as the salon. The rest of the place is for laser and such. The salon can be renovated to be more chic and trendy perhaps. Price is fair for the service you get. It is located in the neighborhood on Victoria street and free parking is available.

I went to get my arms and legs lasered the other day by Kiran. She was amazing, so friendly and did a great job. She even came in 2 hours earlier then she need too. She was amazing and my hair is really thinning.

I walked in with the intention of just getting my eyebrows done but got my hair dyed, cut, and styled as well. They provide great threading services and tips! The stylist Mani was very knowledgeable and eyebrow threading was only $ 5 (very affordable) and hair package is $ 41 with a Groupon. It is convenient as it is close to home if you live in the South Vancouver area.
During my conversation with Mani, I told her that I was planning to go to Vegas in the next week and I had hoped to have my hair look more classy and wanted it to be fixed up. I had recently gotten my bangs cut by a different hair salon and was unhappy with the results. Also, my friend had given me an ombré treatment for hair, but it turned out orange and unnatural.
Mani offered to fix it up for me ON THE SPOT and squeezed me in although she had a tight schedule. She gave me a dye job to make my ombré more natural looking. She added it a few streaks and redid my bangs, and also toned my hair to make it more blond. She also trimmed the ends of my hair to give it more style.
Overall, I’m very impressed by the customer service. They opened recently and provide a wide range of services. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I made an appointment with the stylist and they were a no-​show. They did not even have the courtesy to tell me they would be late or unable to make it.
The business hours state they are open at 11 however I waited until 11:20 and the shop was still closed.
Very unprofessional and unreliable.
