It’s been awhile since I was here, when the Stone Grill was around, lots of industry events here, great food, drinks and people here.
No question that being by the water, facing Granville Island, offers an amazing view.
Service here is pretty informative, there’s 2 types of memberships depending if you own a boat, so you can even become a social member. Free parking, use of club for private meetings, events, etc.
And one free annual inspection by the Coast Guard ;)

The company I worked for 3 years ago part time rented this place out for a holiday party. I was part of that committee and booked this place. We got a discount ’cause the boss was part of the boat club. I wasn’t too found of the venue at the time, however, once myself and some other coworkers came in and started decorating the place it come together. Due to location after the main event many just wondered off for the night for some other activities.

When my wife and I were looking for a place to have our wedding reception we wanted a place with a great Vancouver view. We decided to check out the False Creek Yacht Club. They didn’t have the dates we were looking for so we didn’t end up going with them, but we were really impressed by the view and what they had to offer. The whole room has floor to ceiling glass windows and there is an outdoor deck. You can see Burrard Street Bridge and English Bay beyond the bridge. One big plus about this place is the dance floor. The rental rate is $ 900 and includes the waitstaff. You pick whatever food you want. I don’t think that there was a minimum. The only thing we weren’t really feeling was the décor.
