In Again Clothing

The owners wife has now contacted me on Unilocal,explained that her husband is a busy father and then personally attacks me.
She doesn’t know anything about me or my family.
If they can’t pay their consignees properly, people have a right to know, end of story.

I had high hopes for this place, however, I felt that the clothes were too well used. The customer service was good and the prices were good, however, I feel that they need to take care in ensuring that there is better selection that they take in.

I would only go to this place if I had really ratty-​tatty clothes I wanted to donate and hope to get a couple $$ for them. The clothes in this place are very-​loved and very-​worn out. Tend to pop in there occasionally with the hopes to snag a good deal, but usually the items are so colour-​washed out or «balled-​up» fabrics that I usually walk out disappointment and usually walk to into the second suit consignment store next door instead.

I’ve been popping in here for years. Their prices have gone up but their quality of choices seem to be better too. There’s always a good selection of shoes and accessories. Their men’s selection is decent too. They have a new section upstairs with a lot of Lululemon, athletic wear. Worth checking in often.

I have always found something to buy when I stop into In Again. The woman who works the counter is very friendly and knows the stock well enough to point me in the right direction if I have something in mind. I find the prices very fair and have picked up some real steals from their upper floor where they have the clearence items.

So after months of trying to follow up and get answers or just pick up my clothes (I dropped my clothed off last fall) I am told Again, that even though they once found my clothes, they may have been sent to the commercial drive store, but there is nothing they can do. They just can’t find them, so NO payment to me. The owner said maybe my things were donated, but has NO records. Even after all my requests.
I am now confident that I have been ripped off. Aritzia, Holts etc, bags of clothes all gone missing. Beware. And Dmitri, what goes around comes around. I should have known the first time they said my things didn’t exist (December) but then they found my bags in a back room and I stupidly agreed to try again. They seemed absent minded. But this is too much, losing all my clothes again!
Maybe time to call BBB. My earlier review seems to be missing.
UPDATE is this place still open? they owe me hundreds of dollars. Be careful with
Demetri, he «lost» all my clothes and records of what I brought it.

In Again is a nice little second hand clothing store that definitely has a few gems to be found if you don’t mind the search. Though this store is fairly well-​organized, it doesn’t have a specialty, per se, so if you’re coming to look for something in particular, it’s a bit hit and miss. But, if you just want to browse the quirky women and men’s racks, you just might find something cute or even stylish to add to your wardrobe. There’s always something new here, and they often have especially worthwhile accessories.
