Love this place, I really do, this is not your regular consignment store for men and women with OK clothes. The best way I can describe it is Winners of consignment. By that I mean great selection, designer brands, great quality and fantastic prices. The owner does a great job and industry know of what to sell in his store. They have a great shoe selection as well from dressy to casual including accessories. One of my favorite places to to shop in Vancouver.

I used to shop here and enjoyed it. One day the woman who worked on Saturdays suggested I consign items, gave me a card & info. I phoned a couple times during the week and got the owner. Very different experience than on a Saturday. I no longer shop there or consign there for the simple reason that he’s super arrogant and rude. Really bad phone manners, not interested in establishing a positive working relationship based on my 3 inquiries. Very disappointing. You’d think he’d encourage consignees and shoppers with a friendly tone?

Good concept bad selection. These sample sales or the items that come in or not in fashion and or stuff that no one would really want. The store is organized by color rather than item which just frustrates me. If I want pants I shouldn’t have to look to an entire store of different color sections just for pants. Most stores don’t organize by color but rather by item. The clothes are more loved than they should be sold for, therefore, it just ends up looking like a disorganized mess. Lady working there wasn’t helpful at all either. They do carry labels, that is a plus but you can get generic for better condition.

If you’re looking to spice up your wardrobe for a reasonable price — check out 2nd suit. Great consignment store with gently used clothes for the main-part. Majority of the items are brand name clothes. I get some gently used designer blazers and suits from here. My favourite part of this store is the extensive amount of kensie brand sample sale items(usually end of the season sale items). Brand new clothing items for dirt cheap prices. LOVEIT here! Check it out, but don’t buy all the medium-sized kensie brand items… save a couple goodies for me :)

4.5 stars As a disclaimer, I know the owner of this business well, as this was my first real job! Second suit is one of the only consignment stores that also sells men’s merchandise. Unlike most of the other consignment stores, they do not do seasonal sales, but instead mark down each item individually, based on how long it has been in the store. They have a good mix of higher and mid range labels and their prices are quite reasonable. They also get samples in which are amazing deals and after they have been in the store awhile, they can be marked down to almost nothing. One of my best deals was a gorgeous green bottega venetta bag for $ 200(rather than $ 2000).

Finding a good selection of second hand clothing for men is a bit of a challenge in this city. Second Suit offers a great selection, and the quality is always top notch. The store is very well organized, and it is easy to find what you are looking for. Prices are reasonable, and they come down based on how long the item is in stock. Being a small/medium, it is a bit more challenging, but if you are a large/XL, there is always tons of merchandise. Keep up the good work!

Good quality consignment clothing for men and women, plus a few new sample items. Clothing is organized by color and size. Large selection of shoes and accessories. I can often find items marked down considerably here: a teal-blue Le Château sweater for $ 11 and a neon orange tank for $ 3 were my latest discoveries. The section for men is larger than most second-hand stores and fairly current as well.

Here is a bargain clothing store with current fashion that sells other peoples stuff that they doesn’t want any more. If thats not a bother for you, then you have to check it out They carry a huge selection of Mens & Women’s fashion for years here in kits. IE; They have $ 1000 leather coats for $ 175 perfect just like new. Every thing starts at at 1⁄3 of retail price and then gets discounted over the next month and then pulled off the shelf if not sold, always fresh inventory. If you want to sell some of your clothing that you don’t wear and is clean and not out dated they have a 60⁄40 split deal with every item they sell for you. if you looking to buy temporary clothing item and don’t want to pay full retail this is worth a look.

Second Suit is in my neighbourhood so I get there often. I really like the way that it’s organised mostly by colour and article of clothing. Pants are sorted by size. There’s a decent selection of men’s items but definitely more for women. They also have shoes and accessories. As items hit certain dates the prices drop and it’s surprising how inexpensive many items are to begin with. They seem to be very particular about what they bring in. I’ve only once found an item that needed an easy repair and they gave me a substantial discount on it. They do get a lot of sample sale items as well. They’re dog friendly which seems a bit odd for a clothing store but I have a dog and she’s happier when she stays with me while I shop.
