Lee Loy BBQ Meat

Love this place. It’s doesn’t look like much but this is a lovingly family owned store by a really nice Chinese family and they have a meat store in the back and they are always hard at work. What I like the most is simply being able to offer attention to fresh quality meats (soy chicken, BBQ meats) and good cuts.
During the holidays they will even BBQ cook your turkey if you can’t do the cooking and have lots of guests.
I have worked on Fraser street for 14 years and get a good feel for places that come and go. This store is really exceptional because they remain small, traditional, family owned, they are very good at one thing: BBQ meats. They are committed to quality and historically demonstrated good business located in Chinatown for decades before moving to Fraser.
Please note: The store up the block looks fancier and also sells BBQ Chinese meats, dim sum, Chinese take out and made good food into cheap quality food. I actually had to throw out the dim sum because it was so gross! I would avoid this at all cost and go to the small family run store. Better quality hands down!
