History

Established in 1952.

The Weymark Family purchased Lloyds World Travel Service of Canada Limited in 1964. Five years later there were six branches and Lloyds quickly became well known in the area of Corporate Travel.

Wendy Fougner (Weymark) took over the reigns in 1986. Wendy had initially opened the Princeton office in the mid 70’s. Wendy brought everything except Princeton in under one roof at 730 West Broadway.

In 1997 Wendy’s husband Bruce came aboard with his technology and sales background and Lloyds aggresively entered the Travel Internet Business.

Since 2003 Lloyds has purchased five other travel agencies and continues to expand. Currently located at 906 West Broadway, Lloyds continues to serve the business and holiday traveller.

Lloyd’s Travel offers a wide variety of travel ideas and options including Adventure travel tours for small groups and families, Rocky Mountain rail tours as well as Club Med resort vacation packages.
