I got overcharged by the crooks working here! I was in a rush and went into Moore’s to buy a shirt and tie. The person helping me was friendly enough and asked what I was there for. I told him I was in a hurry and just needed a black dress shirt and black tie. He measured my neck and picked out a few things for me, I proceeded to pick out the most modestly priced items and quickly tried them on and they fit great. I proceeded to the counter to pay and he told I got a second set for free, I told him just to grab me a grey shirt and a tie to go with it, I was in a hurry. I paid and went on my way, but later that night as I was getting my suit together I realized he picked out a more expensive second set without saying anything, thus the set I actually wanted was the free set and the set he picked out was the set I paid for. I was not impressed and will be returning to the store for credit in this manner.

The Australian girl working at Moore’s is not very helpful. She talks like she is a know it all and insists this person and that person is a size X and is quite stubborn with her judgment… when he is almost without doubt a size Y. Purchased items. 72 hours later, it is 50% off, and BOGO. She was so talkative and a bit pushy to the point it was annoying but at least she had a pleasant voice. Main point: if you want to shop here just avoid the sales people and you will be fine. Don’t listen to what size they think you should wear and just go with your instincts. Lots of good selection for suits, but just remember that what you buy today might be 50% off or more another day.

First review? Really? Do my fellow Unilocalers not wear suits? I don’t know how Moores makes money. Every week I get an e-mail offering 50% off for this and 50% off for that. On top of that, they always seem to be sending me $ 50 of $ 25 gift certificates, that can be combined with the 50% deals! All in all, a great store for reasonably priced mens wear.
