Hardy started her company, Automation Plus Business Services, in 1985 after many years of experience as an office administrator in Vancouver and a five-​year stint in Toronto as Partner in WordPower Specialists providing full-​time services to the Management Board of Cabinet, Government of Ontario. Hardy equates the executive suite environment to that of an incubator – a safe, cost-​effective and low-​risk way to operate a new business, branch office, or professional practice. It provides an instantly ready office, receptionist, state-​of-​the art equipment and well-​trained, capable support staff. She believes the value of networking in such an environment cannot be overestimated. She has trained her staff members to strive to be a step ahead, to go the extra mile, to set the highest standard in reliability, so that her customers and their clients have their needs met competently and efficiently.
