Nosh and Nibble met up here and I made a froyo swirl(~$ 5) of Matcha Greek Yogurt and Red Velvet. I wasn’t feeling too healthy so I added some caramel chocolate chips into the mix as well. The Matcha Greek Yogurt had an intense sour taste to it and I could hardly taste the matcha flavour over the Greek yogurt base. Evidently if you’re looking for something healthier or full of protein, a Greek yogurt is a good idea to try. The Red Velvet flavour was a sweet mix of chocolate and cake. I suspect the red colour is due to food colouring just like in regular red velvet creations. This was a sweeter taste and I would recommend the red velvet for those who like a cakey flavour in their froyo.

This Qoola is inside the food court of Pacific Centre. This location is the smallest I’ve been to and can get pretty squishy if there are even 5 customers. Other than that, there are no surprises, with the typical self-serve frozen yogurt and selection of toppings. The cashier that was there when I went made it a little uncomfortable; it seemed like she was very eager to get everyone out of the shop as soon as possible.

Great selection of flavors and toppings but the problem is with the actual star product: frozen yogurt. Unfortunately it wasn’t great. The original flavor was tart but that’s where my compliment ends. I had two flavors and my partner had two and they were soooooo watery. I’ve only had one other frozen yogurt that was this watered down. It was so disappointing. Aside from the watered down product, the price was outrageous. I’ve had more pinkberry with more toppings for far less than what I paid here. I know it’s not the fact it’s in a food court that dictates the price; another brand of froyo is also in a mall and not nearly as expensive and exponentially better. Have a craving for froyo? Keep on walkin’ because you won’t satisfy it here.

This is one of those self serve places where you do everything yourself. Pour your own frozen yogurt, put on your own toppings, blah blah blah. It tastes okay, but it’s definitely not memorable. I had a feeling it would be overpriced, so I purposely only put a kids size portion of frozen yogurt into my cup, NO toppings, and it came to $ 5! Um, for what? This place is ghetto, yet it’s more expensive than a premium quality gelato shop.

This location is located inside the Pacific Centre mall right by the food court. It is very small. There is no space to sit but since it is located by the food court, you can eat it at the food court. I like Qoola because most their yogurt is organic and use cane sugar. They have different toppings for the yogurt including nuts and candies. They price it by weight.
