This particular Quizno’s is brutal. Soggy sandwiches(they’re supposed to be TOASTED) and terrible bread(not the bread you see in the pictures with sesame seeds but some cheaper, stale variety). Stay away.

A much needed sandwich place that tastes better than Subway a few blocks over. a bit of a weird set up, with seating in way back facing street and cashier on the inside mall. mesquite chicken is my personal favourite. Service can be a hit or miss here. they’ll be closing in a week or so.

Toasted sandwiches, last I checked, were supposed to be moderately hot… Not ice cold, yet my sandwich was served up ice cold. When I asked to have it put through the oven again the girl working refused, saying its correct We’re off to a great start, with sub-par food maybe the atmosphere will be better… Nope. Apparently the great fruit fly invasion of 2014 has started, and it’s first attack is happening today, at this Quiznos. Avoid. Like. The. Plague.

Last time I came here the older lady got upset when I didn’t present my coupon before ordering — the sandwich was good. Today she was there and I presented coupon when I ordered. When I got my sandwich it was obvious. 12″ was barely 9″. Almost no meat. Avoid this location especially if you have a coupon!

I actually have a soft spot for Quiznos, as far as fast food goes. I got hooked on their turkey/bacon/guacamole sub years ago. It’s no longer on their menu, but I asked for it at this location and the ladies there were more than happy to make it for me. The sub was everything I remembered. Toasty, gooey with guac and just the right amount of crunch. I sat in to eat it, and the place was very clean and pretty quiet mid-day. It was a peaceful sandwich experience, ready for me to consume quickly and with as many free hot peppers as I desired.

Many an argument has been had over the quality of sandwich from Quiznos, Subway and Mr. Sub, each participant having their say in what makes a great sandwich. Honestly, you can make a better sandwich at home, if you have a set of hands and the know how to make a(gasp!) sandwich. Didn’t we all live off of these during college/university/being broke… and maybe we still do? Regardless, I am here to write about Quiznos in Tinseltown. While my boyfriend remains loyal to this place, I have found Quiznos to have dropped significantly in quality over the years, or maybe it is just this location? I don’t care much to research further on this because fast food sandwiches are not my bag anymore, and this one in particular has been violently crossed off my list(or added to the one of places never to go to again). The staff here shows as much enthusiasm for their job as expected, but their disdain and apathy seems to have been transferred directly to their sandwich-making technique: that being, not listening to what the customer actually wants. In my books, this isn’t very effective. Now my other half claims he has never had an issue with his sandwich and while I might be inclined to hear him out on this, I hesitate because he will inhale most anything and isn’t nearly as picky about his eats as I am. I ordered a sandwich from here once and in a shockingly similar situation to my Subway debacle, they managed to screw up my veggie sandwich while making my boyfriend’s more complicated sandwich perfectly. Obviously, no more fast food sandwiches for me, thanks.
