What’s better then wings an ice cold bevy and some good old Canadian Hockey? A Ceaser created by the amazing bartenders here at score with all of the above. I don’t always indulge in the delicious deep fried drink toppers that are this bars claim to fame but when I do I try at least two before throwing the towel in. The staffs always lovely and especially kind when your rolling in for a mid day hangover cure. And fear not my animal loving friends they have an awesome vegetarian option so you can still have just as much fun as the rest of us this heavenly creation is called «Cauliflower Wings» Id recommend coming in early for big groups and making sure you order water upon arrival or you may get stuff waiting a while for it —Cheers Vancity Gypsy

Pretty good, nothing exceptional but friendly staff and good vibe. Food is solid and Sunday brunch is packed.

Oh man. What an impression I got from this place.
From classic hip-​hop, awesome décor, and great staff.
The menu looked so good, I have to try them all. I got the chicken burger with fries in the side and all I can say is it’s simply delicious. Tons of flavour, not too large that I can’t bite the burger and just the right amount of condiments. The bonus is the thinly cut fries which was the perfect crisp.
Gotta recommend this to others, but not too many since I’d still like to eat here. but for the rest check it out.

My boyfriend and I went up to Vancouver, BC for his 1^st time from Seattle and we wanted to make sure we found a cool place to watch The Hawks game. I emailed ahead of time to find out if they’d have the game on and received THE BEST email response:

It was a bummer we did not get to shake the hand of the man that sent that email as he was out that night. We had two different servers that night and they rocked!

On a long list of place to brunch in Vancouver, this place is missing!
On a half sunny/​cloudy Sunday, I met up with a friend to catch up over brunch and I was quite impressed with the quality of food and service.
The décor is pub-​like, the patio on the Davie side gets sunshine which is always an added bonus. We were seated on the patio close to a heat lamp which meant we were in the cosy spot and close to the entrance… the makings of a great people watching spot.
I started off with a peppermint tea as I was nursing a cold which was nicely presented in a white teapot with a matching mug. I ordered the traditional Eggs Benny with an extra side of Bacon and ended up eating all the chicken apple sausages off my friend’s «Score Breakfast» order. The eggs benny was delicious with ample sauce and the right amount of sides; the chicken apple sausage was the highlight of my experience… the right amount of spice and taste without being too greasy.
I highly recommend brunch at this place if you are in the neighbourhood and want to tantalize your tastebuds in the morning!

This place has been on my bucket list for a while, however, what made this place score with me (no pun intended) was the «best nachos in Vancouver» article by Vancity Buzz that was published on June 3^rd.
They don’t take reservations, however, they were able to accomodate our party of 4.
It was pretty much a girls night out.
It was really packed on a Thursday night without a hockey game. I can imagine what the weekends would be like.
We had a large plate of pulled pork nachos to share. They were as epic as the article write up was. I actually took every single left over shred of the pull pork.
For dessert we had the smores and waffles which was just as epic if not better. I shared this with one of the girls. They did an interactive presentation with the blow torch to toast the marshmallows.
The washrooms are communal. Inside each stall is a Storm Trooper on the door.
I am not that much into sports bars in general, however, there was a slight alternative feel to this that made it awesome. There was great art on the wall that you can purchase.
Our waiter was super sociable and awesome.
We did the sharing plate thing. Our server had a positive attitude and did a great job with fairly dividing the bill for us correctly which was appreciated.

I’m happy to be posting a follow up review to this restaurant. After having first had a less than quality experience at Score on Davie, the management were very quick and happy to ensure the next time I came in, I would love my experience. they went as far as discussing with the staff what had happened and retraining them. I personally didn’t feel like that was all necessary, probably because I have never seen thought of that happen.
The service was excellent. I didn’t even get a chance to try a Ceasar there the second time because we were so intrigued by their beer list. The food came in huge portions for two people. Overall, a really great visit. I’m excited to go back. Though it can be loud inside, they have ample seating on the patio, and you’re going to enjoy your experience.

Came here to watch the Seahawks game while in town and was definitely impressed. Brennan was our server for our big group of 13. They accommodated us as best they could, seating wise, and even though it was a tight fit it worked for us! We stayed for over 5 hours and got everything that we needed– Brennan even split our checks for us.
Super fun to try all the different caesers they had to offer– chicken and waffles, buffalo wings, mac and cheese balls with pulled pork, etc. Sundays they have a special on regular caesers too. I would recommend their cauliflower wings and their eggs benedict (add smoked salmon! this is life changing). Definitely a great place to stop by!

Had brunch today with my partner. We both really enjoy our meals. I had the Big Score breakfast with maple sausages and it was sooo good. The hashbrowns were perfect, the bacon and sausage were delicious, and the eggs were the way I make them at home. Score On Davie serves delicious brunch.

So I think we scored? We live two blocks from this fun queer-​friendly bar and eatery!
I love their name, style, menu, beer and customer service. Our waiter was adorable and extremely excited to tell us about menu specials and beers on tap. Our group of three didn’t have to wait very long to get in and they were very accommodating to make sure we were warm outside (adjusted the heat lamps) and the place didn’t fill up too quickly.
Ambiance: Trendy but casual, hipster vibe with mixed crowd. Non-​gendered shared bathrooms.
I ordered a raspberry wit which surprisingly tasted like the bottom of your cereal bowl after eating Cap’n Crunch. If you’re into that sorta thing, go ahead and get your berry on. Otherwise, they have a nice assortment of craft IPA’s and ales.
Next time I want to check out those cauliflower bites! :D

Went on a Monday night and got the last two person table and I know why.
The food was DIVINE, the service was so friendly and the vibe of the place was just great!
After seeing the size of other people’s pics of the nachos, we decided to try other options and went with the mac n cheese topped with pulled pork, and the pork belly lettuce wraps. Both exceeded expectations (seriously delish!) and the best part about going on a Monday was that all their drink specials from throughout the week were applicable.
I definitely recommend a visit!

I’ve been to Score on Davie quite a few times now. The first time I went was based off of a recommendation from a coworker. I proudly proclaimed to my server that it was our (my fiancé and I’s) first visit to Score and, as such, we were treated like royalty. Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating, but the service was outstanding. We were given a number of free tasters to try their excellent beer selection (some of which you can only get there), checked up on regularly, and given 5 star service. So we came back. Again and again. Introducing new people to Score each time.
Last night we brought a friend to Score for Wing Wednesday: half price wings and $ 6 Craft beer. As usual, we were ID’d at the door (seriously, this isn’t a big deal. There’s a big sign that says they don’t serve anyone under 19. You should expect to have to show ID) by one of the friendliest guys ever; who we noticed makes a point of hugging all his regulars (a nice touch, I’d say). We asked for a spot on the patio, but since it was full, we were sat at the bar to wait. The wait was a bit long, but it wasn’t their fault. The patio is fairly small and people were taking their time to leave. We got a spot though and were served immediately.
We ordered three pounds of wings (the sriracha pineapple flavour is my favourite) and parmesan fries. It was more than enough food for the three of us. All of it was delicious too. (Things we’ve had there in the past that were also delicious: flat bread, fried chicken dinner — the cornbread is to die for, cauliflower wings, and nachos. It should be noted that the large nachos are HUGE. Worth the $ 17).
As usual, despite how busy it was, service was prompt, efficient, and our server was extremely friendly.
Other fun things to note about Score:
— Their washrooms. I won’t go into detail. You have to see it to understand (or read other reviews that give it away)
— If you get a booth inside, you’ll notice there’s a locked box on the wall by your table. It’s for your phone. You and your friends can choose to put your phones inside and have the bartender hang onto the key for the box. First one to ask for the key before the bill comes has to pay the bill
— Their massive Caesars with food piled on top. It’s a meal in itself and it’s amazing
Score on Davie will always be my go-​to place.

This bar on Davie is like an Ed Hardy shirt come to life, except not as bro-​tastic. However the 90s grunge rock soundtrack and décor definitely fit with the Ed Hardy image that came to mind when I first stepped in. the servers and bouncer who checked our ID’S were very friendly.
we stopped here just to grab a quick appetizer to tide us over until dinner. the sushi sliders on the menu seemed intriguing. I thought the presentation of the food was lovely but the taste a bit lacking. the fried sushi rice bun was too heavy for me. there should have been about ½ less rice/​fried breading in the dish and then the ratio of heavy-​light would have been just right.

I can’t believe I came here twice during my Canadian stay. The first night I stopped by was solely to watch the dubs game, we loved it so much that we came back two days later to watch the next dubs game.
Food: The nachos are AMAZING. We outdid ourselves and upgraded our nachos in every possible way we could. For about $ 17 you get a LOT and I mean a LOT of food, easily shareable between about 3 – 4 people. The pulled pork was impeccable, juicy and not as oily as most pulled pork. I purchased the summer salad with chicken, thinking I was going to be «healthy,» I was wrong, I consumed way more nachos than I expected. The salad was okay, I wouldn’t purchase it again, it was nothing special. The second night I had the sicilian flatbread pizza, it was also okay. Great in flavor, but very small serving that left me hungry afterward. I had a few grapefruit beers, I can’t remember who brews them, but they had just a small amount of alcohol (about 3%), but they were tasty and refreshing.
Service: Our waiter was amazing, she moved us three different times in order for us to get a better view of the game. We appreciated that a lot, since that was our sole reason for being there.
Ambiance: Sports Bar — it’s going to be loud, fun and if you’re at the bar you’ll likely chat with someone nice. Definitely a great environment. We ended up meeting a couple from the bay area that was also watching the dubs game, we sat with them and had a few shots, it was a wonderful experience! Sports really bring people together!
Overall: Wonderful place to watch sports, enjoy good food and great beer! I’ll be coming back for sure.

If you like caesars you need to try this place! I’m not a big fan of caesars in general and maybe thats because I haven’t had a good one, this place might have changed my mind.
Ok so I was all about the toppings on the caesars and I went with the «Mac and Chaesar» deep fried pulled pork mac and cheese balls and onion rings. The caesar wasn’t bad, had nice flavours and spice! The onion rings were delish and so were the deep fried balls. I was planning to order something else but the caesar was very filling. They had other caesars that caught my attention with hot wings, waffles, and grilled cheese. And that was just the caesar menu. It was a nice day out so we sat on a nice patio. I was pretty impressed with the caesars good enough to come back to. Id also like to try other menu items.

I had a fantastic time at this place. I loved the décor, and the service was great.
I ordered the Checkmate Cesar and had so much fun trying to tame this beast. My buddy and I went ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ on it. Well, actually he tapped out before the whole roasted chicken. So, yours truly had to complete the task.
I was shocked at how well everything was prepared, everything on the Cesar tasted good. The brownie is freaking amazing.
The Checkmate consists of–
Onion rings, chicken wings, pickle, pulled pork slide, a whole cheeseburger, a whole roasted chicken, and a brownie for dessert. Not including the actual drink itself.
The Cesar will put you back a bit, it cost about 60 bucks to try an conquer this massive drink.
My friends ordered the pulled pork nachos, Those too were great, and a HUGE portion, you can easily share that meal as well. My wife ordered the Chicken and waffle Cesar, and she said that was enough food for her as well.

I would have given it the last star if the wait staff would have been more available. They seem to always be in a rush (not attentive to detail) but not be available which could only mean that they are understaffed.
The Caesar I ordered was bland and very light on alcohol which is a normal thing from what I hear about the BC area since the 3oz law so I should have asked for it spicy and perhaps a double? Not that good since the Hub has automatic doubles for a cheap price that’s tasty, just saying.
As for the them of the place and the fun atmosphere, it was pretty darn awesome! Foods are all huge and the crowd/​clientele is lively. They also have lots of TV’s for viewing of events if needed.
The place is quasi clean since food is an abundance, they probably have issues with food being everywhere. Fun place overall with a theme.

It was playoff season for baseball! Being SF Giants fans and vacationing in Canada, we scrambled for a sports bar at 5pm to watch the game. We were in West End and didn’t know where to go to find a sports bar. We passed by Score on Davie, so we ducked in to check to see if the game was on. We saw some fellow SF Giants fans in their jerseys and decided to come here and totally crashed their table! They were actually locals who loved the Giants and were very welcoming for my boyfriend and I to crash their table!
It was a mixed crowd and everyone was very cool. The food was the perfect kind of game day food with burgers, fries, salads and much more to choose from. Also a great menu for beer on tap! Of course, the Giants won! So happy!
Bathrooms were unisex and I thought I went into the men’s bathroom when I saw a guy standing there. I was like, «OMG, I’m sooooo sorry» and tried not to make eye contact or check out his penis. Then he reassured me that it was unisex and that I wasn’t drunk or crazy.
