This donair place is really quiet. Their donair was actually just okay. Just some regular average donair I guess. Nothing particular but they still over priced it. Plus the donair size is smaller than average donair size. I wouldn’t recommend going there to have donair if you are looking for good donair in town.

Drove by this place on a daily basis and finally mustered the courage to be the first to go in and try out a restaurant that hasn’t had a Unilocal review. The place was immaculately clean, like no equipment used and food was for display only. Looked like the food was prepped at home and then brought in to the donair shop. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma platter, $ 9.99 and the Beef Kebob donair, $ 7.99. The Chicken Shawarma platter had a mini salad, 3 tablespoons of Hummus, lots of greasy basmati rice and a thin layer of sliced chicken(re-heated in the microwave). The tzatziki sauce was water and tasteless. The whole platter was tasteless and needs more garlic flavour. The beef donair was also tasteless. The beef donair was made of ground beef, shaped into donair also re-heated in the microwave. Then, the vegetables are put in the pita bread. The whole thing is put in a panini grill for about 15 seconds to be reheated again. The beef donair did have grill marks but it lacked any flavour. The sitting area are all high stools and quite high. I am only 5′ tall and could not climb onto the bar stools, so I ate standing up. The eating counter was about 4′ high and I felt so weird to eat standing up at a counter than sort of came up to my neck. The bar stools are very light and very easy to tip over. My 5 year old son fell 4′ backwards on his head onto the tile floors. The Donair shop is across the street from an elementary school. So I guess the food may be catered for kids who prefer bland foods. Prices are a bit high for the area. Even downtown donair shops are about $ 1 cheaper than this this place and tastes much better. Sorry, I will not be going back.
