The guy who works there, is terrible. He’s a complete fool, doesn’t seem to want to help anyone, would rather give reasons not to rent a storage unit, and won’t give a proper price on available units.
This guy is an incompetent jerk.

I can’t say I have any complaints about this place. Sure, it’s expensive, but so are all the storage units near downtown.
The space is clean and well lit, and always warm (which can be less fun when moving heavy boxes!) and the storage units themselves are fine.
I can’t say there’s anything particularly incredible about it — it’s a storage unit, after all, but it’s just fine for storing bits and pieces. Access is easy, although sometimes it’s hard to remember to sign in and out. I have nothing bad to say about it, and nothing super awesome either, to be honest!

I needed to get storage after we had filled our apartment with all of our new son’s stuff. It’s amazing how much room can be taken up by little clothes and toys.
The staff here are very helpful, and the location is really convenient.
The costs seem reasonable for the location and the amount of space, so no complaints for me.

I had bad experiences here. They increased the cost of my storage by close to 40% without warning. I was overseas so could do nothing but pay. Then found out they aren’t open on public holidays! That’s the days that everyone has time to move. When i got there the place was so humid it was like a sauna. It’s supposed to be climate controlled! So in short, I would go elsewhere.

I had a bad experience with this company. I was really surprised to receive a notice of a 42% rent increase. I cleared out my locker and gave them the required 14 days notice to terminate my contract. They acknowledged the termination of my contract, but I discovered that they were still billing my credit card for 2 months afterward. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Absolutely the worst storage facility I’ve dealt with. Access hours that no employed person can make use of is just the beginning. Management has been repeatedly verbally abusive including physical threats and there’s no way to escalate grievances beyond the individual manager. On one visit, I discovered that my lock had been cut off. When I asked about it I was told that they can do whatever they want and was given no further rationale. The final straw was the 40% rent increase with less than a month warning and crippling late fees. While searching for a new facility I learned that the owner is not well thought of, in general, within the storage community. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Update: The company rep had just «responded» to my review but it was nothing but a cookie cutter one (as few others the same one). I don’t think they really understand nor care their customers’ frustration but rather blaming us. For one, I never had the privilege to enjoy «hundreds of dollars of saving over the past few years «since I just joined months before the hike. I believe they just want to blame whoever complain to justify the way they conduct the business and the response was directing problem towards the customers instead of admitting they way of handling the situation. Also, look at these positive comments created over the past few days… You will be the judge.
One thing I do agree: it’s a free market and customers have the right to choose.

I too feel there is something fishy going on, I have only been with them for 3 months and received a notice stating my fees are going up by 40%!!! This is unheard of, I understand an increase in price if needed but 40% give me a break. I called and was informed (by a grumpy person) it was because the owner noticed prices are higher elsewhere and his property taxes went up so a 40% increase in monthly rental rates was warranted. Maple Lead Storage is $ 169 for the same, Public Storage after promotion is $ 169 per month, Storage on terminal — NOW $ 180. Asked for details on all units limited feedback provided. I want nothing else but to get my stuff out ASAP DO NOT CONSIDER THIS FACILITY.

The place was great, clean and friendly, but recently the fee went up 40% when the guy working there told us it would not be more then 5−7% not happy. Going to move storage facilities.

After a year and few months using the storage on terminal I like to thank
Garry by giving a «top notch» customer service. The facility is very clean very good covered loading ramps lots of carts.
The storage is alarmed and monitored with cameras ²⁴⁄₇ you feel very secure.
And don’t forget to wash and vacuum your car after stopping at the storage on terminal it’s a one stop location enjoy.

After almost a year of dealing with Storage on Terminal, I think it’s time for an update.
The good:
— it’s still clean.
— the space itself is still inspiring… in a way. I want to convert the whole space into one giant loft for me and a bunch of artist friends.
— they still offer (over-​priced) locks, boxes (though why you wouldn’t use reusable rubbermaids is beyond me), packing tape, etc.
— there are still a number of different sized lockers to choose from.
The not-​as-​good:
— they jacked the price of my locker up without notifying me first. What am I going to do? Leave? They know I can’t, and took advantage.
— there is only one (1) friendly employee in the whole joint. The others are straight up rude. Not that I need a storage locker employee to be over-​the-​top friendly, but how about a little compassion when my home has been broken into and my credit cards compromised and I’m late on a month’s payment? How about a smile once in awhile?
— the variation in size lockers they offer unfortunately do not come with a matching variation in price. It’s like the supersize thing — why get a large for this price, when you can a much larger (but very oddly configured) unit for only a bit more. Both prices, by the way, are still a lot more than you want to spend.
— they close at 6pm. This is a standard closing time for most storage units, but given the other two «not-​as-​good» points, I have a hard time looking past this.
Less than happy, but still satisfied. Maybe if I gave them a piece of my mind… maybe then I’d get back a peace of mind?

At the risk of sounding cheesy I gotta say this place offers top notch service! The men who operate this place are really casual, friendly guys and the man who showed me around made sure he found me the biggest locker available in my price range and size requirement!
I am only staying 1 month so they booked my move out day before I moved in to make sure I didn’t accidentally get charged for an extra month too.
They have everything you need, pull in loading dock, dollies, packing supplies… if you need it they got it! They even backed up in a huge U-​haul truck into the loading area for another customer who was clearly having difficulties with it!
The mezzanine locker prices are very reasonable and the facilities are immaculately clean. Moving is stressful but I knew I made a good choice choosing Storage on Terminal!
