What a beautiful marina backed up to the glass towers of Vancouver. It doesn’t get much better than this. Having docked at Coal Harbour, here is all about location, location, location. The Yaletown neighborhood has it all. Restaurants, bars, microbrew, markets and shops all within walking distance. There’s really no need to hire a car or request an Über when at this marina. Plenty of temporary moorage for boats of most cruising size and up to 120 feet. We were only half that size and tied off to the main dock. Despite being in the middle of it all, the foot traffic was not noticeable and I felt very safe leaving the boat. 30, 50, 100 amp power is available. Coal Harbour is nice, secure and quiet but if you want a break from the sea and to enjoy a few nights of city life, call into Quayside Marina on 66A and tie off. It’s a great place to float.

Relaxing place to chill with a coffee in the morning and watch the boats pass by.
