Like most vapers, Thunderbird Vapes’ owners were long time smokers. After 20 years of smoking cigarettes they made the switch to vaping and haven’t looked back!
Thunderbird Vapes opened in November 2014 with the goal to be an approachable and inviting space for vapers. Many new vapers and smokers, who have yet to make the switch, find vape shops intimidating to enter. Thunderbird Vapes strives to make the transition easier with a comfortable, relaxed setting and supportive staff to guide new vapers through process.
Meet the Business Owner
Stacey W.
Business Owner
Stacey’s background is in the visual arts and art administration. She has a Bachelors of Fine Art from the University of British Columbia, is the former director of a prominent Vancouver commercial art gallery and was a member of the Art for Life selection committee from 2011 — 2014. Knitter since childhood, Stacey also designs knitting patterns.
In 2014 she and partner, Brendan Darby, opened Thunderbird Vapes.
