Never again… Since my review I pop-out 3x… And sadly 3x the lower bun was WET… Meh. I can’t eat ”wet” bread… The chicken breast was a way to oily, juicy… I have NOCLUE with what happen at this location… Never again… I am going to stick at the on on Beatty st. Even if it takes forever to get da food…

What an absolute monstrosity Sure, the size is big. I don’t even mind the high price. but what for? A tasteless beef patty? Stale fries? i’ve had Fat Burger in Dubai and in Lahore. Never liked it there. But i thought i was wrong and its just a franchise problem. Turns out, i was right. Fat Burger is fat waste of money and an even fatter disappointment.

First time there today. The burgers are awesome and you can have literally anything you want on your burger. Mine was so big I could not keep it together. It was pricy combo over $ 14 but totally worth it.

Rude staff. $ 15 for a not-that-great burger combo. Save your money for something better.

Fatburger has changed their customer loyalty program. Used to get 1 stamp per burger purchased, now it is 1 stamp per visit regardless of whether I’m purchasing 6 burgers for the family or 1 for myself. How cheap of Fatburger!

Food is fine but they play shit-ass music so loudly that I want to vomit literally. Turn that fucking garbage off while people are trying to eat.

So called a healthy person craving for burger on weekend. Hmm… Besides Wendy’s I found another good burger nearby me. It’s small and cozy shop on Broadway and Alberta Street’s corner. There are few parking spots in front of shop and a lot of meter parking around the block. The staffs were very friendly and efficient. I ordered mushroom burger with yam fries. OMG! What a GIANT burger! It made with real lean beef and mushroom when I ordered. The burger was juicy and delicious! Yam fries were tasty! Based on Fat burger nutrition chart, mushroom burger under 900 Calorgies and 60 gram fat! Sounds not bad and not feel guilty at all. Even though the burger price at expensive side, I would say it’s worth it and get the stamp card for buy 6 get 1 free.

Tried the chicken tenders. Usually skip these in favour of burgers, but Fatburger’s tenders weren’t dry at all, nice and moist despite being white meat. A pleasant surprise. Also a pleasant surprise was the service, extremely courteous, cheerful, and helpful for a fast food place. A nice touch. Will return when I’m nearby. Pro tip: look for their frequent Groupons, they’ve done a number of these and they’re good value, though selection will of course be more limited vs the a la carte menu.

For a burger joint this place is over priced and the meat has no flavor to it. More for your value at Veras and that is not saying much. Fries are decent, however, nothing to write home about. Customer service is no here or there.

First off a little background. I am a burger fanatic, have been called a burger connoisseur by some. I like to think of myself as a burger purist. If you have to hide your burger under truffles and arugula or some other cheffy nonsense your burger probably sucks. Give me a straight up burger with Ketchup Mayo and Lettuce any day.(I occasionally switch it up and throw a tomato or some grilled onions on there too) Even though people constantly reminding me how unhealthy it is, I eat a burger every day. Sometimes twice a day. I will travel great distances(I have driven over an hour a few times and many times have walked 2– 5k) to try burgers people recommend. I know… you are thinking«this guy is a fool!» but that is how much I love burgers. New to Vancouver and on my usual quest to find the best burger spot in town. Was pleasantly surprised to find a Fatburger a few minutes walk from our place. Have been in 8 out of the last 10 days because it is convenient for me. They have a frequent burger card Buy 6 and the 7th is free. I had my first free burger(of what will likely be many) yesterday on day 9. Not free like you have to pay the taxes«free» … I mean order the burger and walk out without paying anything free. For someone like me this is a definite plus. Service is fast and friendly(mostly) 6 to 8 minutes on average so far. even when they are relatively busy. Tried the Kingburger Supreme, the original Fatburger, and the Classic with no bacon. All made reasonably fast without sacrificing the quality. I especially like the 8 oz King. Juicy, but not overly greasy. Nice fresh fluffy sesame seed white bun. and a nice chunck of hand cut lettuce. A premium quality burger at a premium price, 8.99 + tax. The 6 oz Fatburger is a bit more reasonable at 6.99 + tax. The fries are ok, not bad but nothing special. The seating inside is kinda cramped, but there are a few tables outside. Also parking is very limited. looks like 4 spots but there is street parking on Alberta. All in all a solid 4 outta 5 stars. They lost the last star because after seeing someone in your shop 8 out of 9 days they really should know my name by now. Guess we will see how long it takes them to earn that last star LOL

LOVETHISPLACE!!! My boyfriend lives in Vancouver and myself in New York. He took me here for the first time last year. I fell in love. Now every time I go to Vancouver we HAVE to come to Fatburger or I am not pleased. I get the California veggie burger and we share and order of fries. The veggie burgers are amazing which I find a lot of times they are dry. But not here. The guacamole and egg on the burger are amazing. It’s so huge I always feel like I’m about to explode when I leave. My boyfriend and I get a basket of fries to share and we never end up finishing it. The fries are cooked to perfection. The milkshakes are bomb! Chocolate all day. Give it a try! I always get the Granville island beer that is on tap. I love that beer and it wish I could find it in the states on the east coast. Also,!a burger place that serves alcohol?! Very rare where I live. So awesome. He recently took me to Vera’s for a change. It did not match up as well. They recently got a veggie burger on their menu and it is no competition. The veggie burger tasted weird and had an odd texture. I had them build my burger the same way as a California from Fatburger and it was not at all the same. Fatburger is officially my favorite burger place. They need to open one up in NY!!! I gave this 5 stars not only because of the amazing food but the staff is always friendly and talkative. They know the menu pretty well and are always ready to make suggestions. The bathrooms are clean which is a big one for me. The restaurant is always clean. The prices are super affordable and the amount of food you get is ridiculous. Over all, I love this place and I suggest getting the California veggie burger. Or just the regular California burger if you’re a meat eater :)

As far as fast food goes, this is not bad! Clean facilities, nice staff, fair prices. $ 8 for a burger. Tasted pretty good, for fast food anyways.

I’ve decided I don’t like the hamburgers at this place. It’s not that they’re bad, they’re just not special and thus not worth the price. However, their Southern Fried Chicken burger is excellent. Crunchy, juicy and cooked fresh. It has just the right amount of toppings so it wasn’t an awful mess to eat. I had yam fries with my meal and I found them to be decent enough. They didn’t feel greasy and were nice and crispy. Parking is kind of meh here with only 4 spots and they have very little seating capacity. The washrooms were clean though which is a good sign.

Two double double combos please! Sure, that’ll be thirty five bucks… Welcome to fatburger, the last great hamburger stand, burgers are costly, counters are greasy, and service comes with a dismissive scowl. I bought a groupon and thought I would give it a try, somehow even with the deal it was way more expensive then it should have been. Food was average quality, I would have been happy if I had spent half what I did…

They say you are what you eat, so you can imagine my internal thought process at eating somewhere called ‘Fat Burger’. I got over it, needs must. I don’t know the burger mafia legacy that accompanies these north American chains so I’ll have to review it on my own opinions alone and not lore.* Since I was sick I decided against the beef and went for the Thursday combo chicken burger. Though at $ 15, I am not entirely sure where the savings come in. I added cheese, because, well how can you not? And that may have been one of the better life decisions I’ve ever made. Cheese elevated this mere chicken burger to the deliciousness that Fat suggests. Using real chicken breast is a nice touch, tasted fresh and appealing. The fries were fairly pedestrian. Meh. I so wish i had gotten a chocolate shake, but i had to maintain some semblance of control. Service was fine, the restaurant is clean and pleasant to sit in. It’s a far superior place to have lunch that Mc Donalds. They even have poutine! And salads… Salads at Fat Burger. Hmmm. * Ahem, looking at you In N Out.

I have decided to upgrade my rating for this location for a few reasons. First, the quality of food really is great. Fresh(not frozen), well-seasoned patties, meticulous dressing and presentation of the burgers, delicious and perfectly crispy fries, rich and delicious shakes. Plus rotating specials and customisable burger topping choices. Second, the service. The staff at this location are some of the hardest working and attentive people I’ve ever come across in any restaurant. These people really care about their jobs and making sure their customers are satisfied. They’re fast, efficient, friendly, and fun! And they keep the restaurant impeccably clean and organised. And finally, the consistency. The Fatburger locations I’ve been to in Vancouver are all extremely consistent in the things I’ve mentioned above. It is for these reasons that I think the higher-than-other-fast-food prices are worth it. The location, however, still sucks, the parking still sucks, and the seating options are not that great. If not for these things, this Fatburger would have 5 stars from me for sure.

Fatburger«The Last Great Hamburger Stand!». Really? The name suggests that it would be delicious. Mouth watering. Was it? The patty are decent but definitely does not live up to the Best Burger around. I beg to differ. In fact I find my Whopper Wednesday’s to be exceptional also. With that in mind, Fatburger’s burgers were juicy. There was even a selection of sizes from Small Fatburger 2.5 oz to XXL Fat Burger 24 oz. The burger stand is quint and offered limited seating and limited parking spaces for that matter. There are other locations in Downtown and even Coquitlam if you are a fan. The décor is old school and somewhat California and I was hoping for some roller-skates(yes! skates not blades). The fries are crispy and wasn’t too greasy. $ 26 for two burger combos was rather steep and if I were to pay that much for a burger I might as well go to a sit down restaurant. It’s simply not worth the price.

My husband bought a groupon for Fatburger($ 8 for $ 16 worth of food), so we decided to check it out when we were in the area. Before I went to Fatburger, I had nothing but awful stereotypes in my head. Why else would you go to a place called Fatburger unless you wanted a 1200+ calorie filled grease monstrosity? In fact, this stereotype is the reason I never went, until a few days ago. The restaurant is really small, for starters. There’s only 3 or 4 parking spaces in front for customers in a sea of reserved parking spots. We had to park over a block away in order to go here. This wouldn’t be an issue if you took public transit, but with a car it’s a bit of a headache. It’s also a bit inconvenient that the menu board and cash register are located right in the entrance, because people have to constantly shove by those waiting in line to get pop/grab seats/get condiments/etc. There’s a decent amount of counter seating and tables inside given the size of the restaurant, but we opted to sit on the roomier patio. I guess you can’t change the size of the space you’re given, but I felt awful that I was in everyone’s way. Unlike my stereotype, Fatburger actually has a few healthier options on the menu. I opted for the grilled chicken burger with the works. They also have turkey burgers if chicken isn’t your forte. I ordered the burger as a combo with fries and a diet coke. The burger was surprisingly very delicious. It wasn’t greasy, and there was just the right amount of toppings. Unlike my husband’s burger, they didn’t wrap my burger with a secondary wrapper to keep all of the toppings in, so a lot of them fell out. They should do the wrapping for all burgers ordered, not just the hamburgers. The french fries on the other hand are crispy and also not greasy. They reminded me of the well done french fries at In-and-Out burger in California. Minus space issues, the one thing that keeps me from recommending Fatburger is the price point. For two burger combos, the total cost was $ 26, including tax. Now, we had the groupon, so we actually only paid $ 18. While it was a great meal, I feel $ 13 is overpriced for a take-out burger and fries. I’m really glad I tried Fatburger to break the stereotype, but I can’t give Fatburger the 4 stars I feel the food deserves.
