Went to trade in a gamecube off a game, the game cost 40. Told the guy I was going to an atm and would be back in a few moments, when I got back the game was 50 dollars. The owner is an absolute criminal. Everything(EVERYTHING) he has in stock can be got for a fraction of the price on eBay or Amazon. As an example, new gamecube controllers from a 3rd party manufacturer are 24 dollars in his store, while the same controller from Amazon is 11 dollars or so including shipping. He accused me and the customer before me of lying when we pointed this out. Then when we did he said«no, I won’t do a deal with a liar». Guess it’s time to not support a small business and do a sensible deal on Craigslist or something similar.

I am from out of town but had some time to burn till my table was ready at the restaurant down the street, movies were so over priced but i felt bad for spending 30 minutes walking around so i found a $ 9 dvd and bought it. I just decided to watch said movie and i opened the case and it was broken like almost in half. I know it was only $ 9 but i am so annoyed with how dishonest this guy is. Its totally not okay, I hate people like that.

Really you want to sell used DVD’s that are over 10 years old for $ 15 each when HMV has them for either 2 for 10 or less? They have tons of titles, many of which were on my wish list. They need to get their head out of their a&&‘s about the prices. I am all about the video games. I saw a Game Boy Metroid cartridge that they wanted $ 15 bucks for. I bought a similar one with shipping on Ebay for $ 5. I got angry that I just said fuck it. I made sure that my opinions were audible to the owners even though I was talking to my best friend. I don’t know what I am more pissed off at: The prices or the fact that my best friend instead of spending connection friend time with me decided to go to this over priced joke of a store. If you’re looking for used video games, PM me. I have some used video games shops that are way decent in prices. The one in New Westminister by the station has way more competitive prices for rare and common titles.

Decent selection, however the shop owner’s sour attitude combined with high prices make the shopping experience unpleasant. When you compare this vintage media/video game store with a place like Iceman Games in Toronto it’s night and day. We need a better option in Vancouver.

Totally do not recommend this place. Things are WAAAY overpriced. Tried talking the shop owner down to a reasonable price, but nope. Definitely cheaper to buy things online *with* shipping.

Unlike Ebay Eddie will be around if you’re twenty five year old game doesn’t work. He know his stuff and has a great selection of hard to find games for all the old systems. His prices aren’t the lowest but he’s got a store to pay for and you can also haggle with him. He gives some pretty good discounts if you are spending some money. If you’re looking for games in Vancouver he’s one of the best.

One of few stores in Vancouver that sell used vintage video games. Sadly they are way over priced. Even EBAY(plus shipping) is cheaper.
