I’ve poured countless hours into this library studying and trying to pass my exams. This is one of the bigger libraries in Vancouver, much larger than the Fraserview branch two city blocks down(you’ll never find workspace there). This library can seat roughly 30+ people, possibly a couple more in the Children’s Area if you don’t mind getting dirty looks from parents with kids. Don’t worry about noise from the abundance of kids running around this library, there is nice little event room which functions as a quiet area when not being used. Tip For Laptops Users: If you’re looking to charge your computer while you work, consider coming a little earlier to claim one of the 2 carrel desks. These desks are in high demand as they offer the most desk space and a outlet under the table. If you don’t save your spot you’re gonna lose it. I can only speak for the men’s room, but generally it’s always a mess. I do a little tap dance across the floor each time trying to avoid the puddles of unknown liquid. Despite this little setback, I will keep returning to this branch due to their location, friendly atmosphere, and food convenience(Starbucks, A&W, Subway, Sushi, and Extra Foods are all in the same mall!). TL;DR– Lots of kids. Good amount of seating and in a convenient location. Avoid washrooms.

This location is just outside across from the Liquor store. This library is small with a decent selection. I come here ’cause they seem to have a better selection of DVD’s to rent. I sometimes use their computer or pick up books that I’ve ordered in. The customer service here is a lot friendlier than some of the other branches mainly ’cause it is made up of locals. It’s cool seeing your neighbors in a small situation looking at books.
