Unique hand-crafted breakfasts served in a street friendly way. We use local and organic products as much as possible. Our eggs are always free-range. We use only compostable, recycled or biodegradable take out wear (even our bags). All of our cleaning supplies are natural. We are locally owned and operated by two professional, award winning Chefs with extensive fine dining backgrounds.
We put all of this into our food but the most important ingredients that we use are love and care.
History
Established in 2012.
Yolk’s breakfast is a division of Wet Coast Foods which was started by Steven Ewing and Mario Margaritis in 2008 as a restaurant consultation business where they worked with many restaurants in many capacities. In 2010 Wet Coast foods consulted on the opening of three food trucks for a client and they fell in love with the food truck business.
After countless ideas and lots of eating Yolk’s was born in Spring of 2012 starting with festivals and catering. The response was huge and it was decided that Yolk’s needed to get onto the streets of Vancouver. We found the spot we wanted and jumped through all the hoops to get it and here we are!

Certified Chef de Cuisine and life long culinary professional Steven Ewing has worked in some of the best restaurants in the world including the French Laundry in Napa Valley California, Executive Chef at the Raincity Grill and Rockwater Resorts.
After 5 years of consultation work for some of the top restaurants in Vancouver and abroad Steven came up with the concept for Yolk’s Breakfast after seeing the fledgling food truck scene had a gap.
