The burger tasted like cardboard and broke in pieces The food was brought without the drink which i had to take it myself No sorry or any other comment from the server Worst place ever and will not come back

Love this burger place! Always great! Takes such a long time to prepare the burgers though. They are also very pricey! If they were cheaper, and quicker, I would come here so much more!

Groupon bought me here today. $ 16 deal; two burgers with fries. This place is more than a burger joint. They have wings, poutine and even beer. We ordered and found a seat. They bought us our drinks and then the food right to our table. Great service! They even came over twice and asked how was the food. So attentive! The bun had a crispy crust and a soft interior. The patty was a bit dry though. Their iced cap is the best; it’s rich and the coffee flavor lasted to the very last sip. I will come back to try their wings, poutine and have the iced cap again! Solid five stars for the iced cap and service. 2 stars for the burger.

Bad customer service as soon as they found out I am using groupon. However, the burger itself was nice, and a handful selection of toppings.

We used a groupon deal 16 bucks for 2 burgers and fries, the restaurant itself is trendy, clean and theres parking in the back. I liked that the burgers come with set toppings that you can also omit as you wish, they also had a lot of free premium toppings like onion rings and fried onions that some burger joints charge extra for which was nice. I enjoyed my burger, it takes longer to get your food compared to fast food burgers but they do promote its fresh never frozen made to order angus beef burgers. One other thing id have to compliment them on is their custoner service… the staff actually walk up to you to check on your meal and she even offered to get refills to another customer.

A long overdue review Love the 50 – 60’s retro décor of the restaurant as it happens to be one my favourite era. There’s also a nice big screen tv in the sitting area. Didn’t know what to order so I ended up getting the FB original menu However, I ended up liking more the pork pulled burger, a special limited promotional item that FB had. Hope Faburger brings it back cuz it was so good~!!! to die for. The fries and the poutine as a side were well made too. Pricewise, a little bit more expensive than most usual burger joints, However the quality is there and the ingredients are fresh. That is why I don’t mind paying a little bit more for a great burger! Service wise, the staff is quite friendly and I like how they bring you the food to your table. Washrooms are big, spacious and so clean! Definitely a great place to hang out after shopping at Vaughan Mills. Even if not in the mood for a burger, this place has one of the best milkshake in the GTA. Great hangout place to chit chat and relax on a lazy afternoon or right after work.

Solid burger joint. We came with a Groupon($ 16 for 2 burgers and regulations fries) so it was fairly priced but if it wasn’t for that I’d say it was expensive. I mean two burger meals go for $ 22 +tax. For a fast food joint I’d say that’s a little too much. Personally if it wasn’t for the Groupon(even though the service was excellent), I wouldn’t come here again(mainly due to price). Pros Good fresh food Yam fries are great Generous portions Good service Cons Much too expensive for a fast food joint Nacho fries aren’t that good

Wwwooowiee! So colorful inside! So much going on on the menu. Where to look first?! Fatburger gives off a jolly vibe — maybe because of all the signs and colors everywhere. And the fact that you can smell the aroma of fat juicy burgers. The bf’s original burger tasted bland and dry. I added mushroom to mine and it gave the burger a good amount of juuuice and flavor. I then regret ordering just a original burger. Perhaps we should’ve ordered something with lots of toppings and add ons. Oh well! The fries were average. Not as good as other places that’s for sure. Next time, I’m going for the onion rings or chili cheese fries. Be sure to add toppings or you’ll end up with a dry burger! I’ll be back for more someday!

I guess I should not be surprised. It looks like the easiest things to make are nowadays the easiest things to ruin. I mean, how difficult is it to make a decent hamburger? Why cannot they get it right? They certainly don’t want to get it right at Fatburger. It is probably because they are trying to hoodwink you. After paying $ 10 for a cheeseburger I was left with the feeling that some people have no guts and must give everything no matter how bad or average a five star rating. The burger patty was dry and shriveled. I guess they use low quality meat and perhaps salt it too much and let it stay. Not only that it is was small. Imagine a drier McDonalds patty. So, the race for the most expensive and disappointing hamburger in town continues. Fatburger sure know how to make up for the size of their patty though. Almost half the head of a lettuce sits on the burger. Let’s call it Lettuce Burger with a dry and sad patty underneath. If you go add extra ketchup/mayonnaise/whatever to insert some life into your burger. At my end I have boycotted Burger’s Priest for the owner’s disgusting beliefs, cannot afford to pay $ 25 for a burger at Drake and of course usually have more sense than to enter a Burger King. I will continue to make my own, visit Harvey’s if I am in the mood when walking around the city or keep searching for a decent hamburger I don’t have to empty my bag’s content for. It just dawned on me. Their burger is similar to Wendy’s. I want to be careful writing it because I have not been to Wendy’s in a long time, but from what I remember Fatburger may be getting its burgers from the same source as Wendy’s.

Was in the neighborhood, so I decided to drop by again to try their burger Still had difficulty finishing the meal due to the sheer size of it, but can’t really complain about the freshness of both the burgers and the salad. Customer service was ok

I had a craving for a good burger to take out so I found this place on Unilocal due to the positive reviews. The burgers are expensive for a fast food burger joint. I had the Ultimate BBQ burger combo with tumbleweed chips for $ 15.27 plus tax. With the combo there’s a choice of thin cut fries, curly fries or tumbleweed chips. Pros: Service. The staff are friendly and attentive. Toppings and beef are very fresh. The beef has a good meaty texture. Chips are crisp and nicely dusted with some type of seasonings. Cons: The BBQ sauce is way too sweet to be on a burger. It was overwhelming the beef. The bacon is very thin, similar to McDonalds. Overall, the burger I tried was just okay. I’ll probably come again to try something else on the menu, but definitely without the BBQ sauce.

Completely overpriced and so disappointing! I tried their veggie burger for the first and last time yesterday. I would definitely not go here again. I paid $ 8.50(with tax) just for the veggie burger alone. Pretty astronomical price for a fast food joint, especially considering other better tasting veggie burgers(e.g. Hero Burger) are $ 2 less. The bun was fresh but doughy and the biggest part of the burger. The patty was salty and extremely thin(think of an iPhone and then halve it). The toppings very ho-hum(your basic lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, pickles, relish, ketchup and mustard). Really disappointed that for this price that they don’t offer anything beyond these very standard toppings. I didn’t like the fact that they don’t put the toppings on in front of you so that you can personalize it(e.g. more/less of some toppings). When you order, there is a list of about 7 very standard toppings on a card beside the cash and you let them know if you want all or some of the toppings. Then you can’t see as they’re making it and they hand the finished product to you. My burger had way too much lettuce(a huge thick piece) and almost no ketchup or mustard. Without a doubt one of the worst and most overpriced veggie burgers I’ve ever had. They seem to have spent all their money on making the place look flashy rather than the food. No surprise that I was initially the only one in there. Save your money and head to Hero Burger.

Was in the neighborhood, so I decided to drop by again to try their bacon cheddar burger. Unlike McDonalds, they certainly don’t cheap out on the actual bacons. Still had difficulty finishing the meal due to the sheer size of it, but can’t really complain about the freshness of both the burgers and the salad. Customer service was excellent as usual and the place was spotless!

I came here on the last day of Burger binge week. I ordered the Unilocal burger, A big, juicy, 6 oz AAA Angus beef burger topped with Canadian Cheddar and customized to your taste with your choice of mustard, relish, onion, pickles, tomato, lettuce and mayo(and 8 other free toppings!). All for $ 5! If I had to describe their burger using one word, I would go with«Fresh». Everything about it is fresh, from the Juicy patty to the crispy lettuce to the perfectly toasted bun. It was a little salty though. To be fair I asked for all the free toppings. I suggest that you minimize your toppings, don’t be greedy like me. Great friendly service. Establishment is a little compact with the exception of their spacey, clean, fancy washroom. Surely worth checking out.

Another day, another burger! A pretty nice place to get a fast food burger if you’re in the area! Provides you with a nice burger with all the bells and whistles, so to speak! Came by for the Unilocal Burger Binge Week, and was pretty happy with the burger. Quick and friendly staff took my order and made the burger in about 5 min. If you sit in, they will even bring you your meal to the table! A nice juicy burger with all the toppings you’d typically expect! Except this one included cheese and bacon, which are the best toppings in my opinion! If you want, there are options you can include on top or exclude if you are so inclined to do so! Easy personalization without much hassle and lineup. If you’re looking for a fast food burger that’s better than your typical joint, I’d give this chain a try!

Oh baby! Fatburger was too good. I visited this burger joint for the first time last night with a Unilocal coupon. A $ 56oz AAA angus beef burger with Canadian cheddar cheese and free customized toppings. I dressed mine with grilled onions, an onion ring, pickles, lettuce, tomato and mayo. It paired nicely with a $ 4 pint of Amsterdam. The burger melted in my mouth! It was fresh and bundled up tightly in it’s blanket/wrapper. The staff were super pleasant too. The guy on cash was efficient and finished my sentences. me: «what toppings can i…» him: «right here on this list» me: «what’s the secr.» him: «it’s like a spicy ketchup» He and another lady came by twice to check on us. Great customer service, amazing taste and quality. I’ll be back for sure!

Look at my photos, my burger was so dry, overlooked and gross, one of the worst burgers I have ever had. The sweet potato and curly fries was good.

I liked what I had ordered which was a Hawaiian which had bacon, pineapple, Swiss, teriyaki. My burger wasn’t crazy large but it was the size I wanted. We had a variety of sides which consisted of Cajun cut chips, fries, bacon poutine. This is the only Fat Burger in the GTA just north of Promenade mall in Thornhill. While I wouldn’t necessarily drive all the way to Thornhill just for this place if I’m not too far I would come back to try some of the different burgers. For the price it is not bad since you can basically choose your size from small to super large over a pound and even more I’d you wanted. I give it an a-OK.

Another successful Unilocal event! Thank you Kris for organizing. Fatburger is worth checking out if you are in the thornhill area. And there is plenty of parking in the back. I ordered the«baby» burger which is exactly the same AAA angus beef used for the regular burgers except smaller sized. It was the perfect amount in my opinion and«only» about 591 calories(excluding cheese) according to the nutritional info :) You order your food at the counter and they give you a number, tell you to have a seat and bring your food to you. Nice! You can add a variety of sides(e.g. chili, guacamole, egg, etc.) but the best value is 2 for $ 1.99 so I opted for the fried egg and the Canadian cheddar. I was disappointed that they were out of the pepper jack cheese and also the free onion rings but didn’t let it get me down! The burger was tasty and flavourful. I was pleased :) Fries, poutine and Cajun chips were a nice addition that we all shared. Standard fare in my opinion. The poutine was nice and hot and tasty. The baby burger with the 2 sides came to about 9 bucks without drink or sides. Worth it if you are in the area.
