We are a full service catering company with event space. We provide food and beverage from 2 to 200 people. If you have a conference, AGM, breakfast meeting or wedding we are here for you. We also provide our services to other venues of your choice. Once a month we hold our own Supper Club to provide Victoria BC with a private dining event like no other. History

Established in 1994.

Ambrosia was originally built by the Mason’s in 1994. In 2001 it changed hands and became the baby of Dominque Chapheau. Mr. Chapheau built the business for several years before passing the mantel in late 2007 to the Walker-​Duncan family. Currently this business is locally owned and operated by Chef Walker-​Duncan and his wife. They have a strong connection to the community and believe in local sustainability, local products and local people.

Business Owner

Chef Steve Walker Duncan started his career here in Victoria more than 20 years ago at Little Sammy’s Fat Burgers then he was part of the opening team at John’s Place. He left Victoria for 17 years in which he honed his Chef skills in some of the finest kitchens in England, Spain and Holland. His passion for food is only matched by his love of the base ingredients and his belief in the culinary profession. Besides being the Executive Chef here at Ambrosia he spends his time teaching the future culinarians in the Cook Program at Camosun College and as a leader for the Vancouver Island branch of the Canadian Cook and Chef Federation.
