Very nice downtown shop in Victoria with a friendly staff. The lady at the counter was extremely knowledgeable regarding the masks that line the walls and the stories behind them. Overall they have an eclectic collection of First People memorabilia and other Pacific NorthWest-specific goods.

Having just moved to Canada, I wanted to get some«Canadian» presents to send back home for Christmas. I found exactly what I was looking for here. This is the home of the bulky hand-knit strikingly designed Cowichan Sweaters that 90% of Victorians seem to own. I was really pleased when they didn’t have the sweater I wanted in the size I needed, they called down the street to their sister store and had them put one aside for me.(Side note — Sitka also has«Cowichan» sweaters, although they are about $ 100 more expensive, and I’m not sure they’re authentic. Go here instead.) They also had a really nice selection of beautiful and inexpensive jewlery. I hope my family is as pleased as I am with the items I picked out.
