Since 1985 the fish store has delivered the freshest local seafood available. Since 2009 the current owners, Peter and Colleen have embraced that philosophy and taken it even further. We are proud to say we take the sustainability of our oceans seriously, and from locally grown Shellfish to wild West Coast Salmon or Halibut our entire store is endorsed as ‘Ocean Wise’ through the Vancouver Aquarium. In 2010 we said ‘why have all this wonderful seafood here at our fingertips, and not cook it’ And so our menu was born: large flour tortillas filled with fresh sushi rice, seafood and sauces; fish tacos with house made smoked tomato salsa and a variety of local fish; local oysters on the half shell; live crab steamed to order; curried mussels; house smoked fish, all ocean wise, all sustainable. In December 2011 we installed a dedicated Gluten Free fryer, and now offer a GF menu, including GF fish and chips.
