These guys are awful, set up an appointment and an hour before they said they would be late. In the end they didn’t show up at all and some poor guy was sent to my house to steam clean my carpet but since no one else showed up i just sent them home. No follow up at all either. I’d never deal with these guys.

I called Aspen Clean to have a sofa and chair cleaned through their upholstery and carpet cleaning service. I chose Aspen because of their commitment to the environment and use of natural products. I received very good phone service and booked the appointment with no problem. I did have an issue with the cleaning job they performed on my sofa and chair. The technician was on time and courteous, but after cleaning my beige sofa and chair they appeared to have a striped appearance which they are not meant to have after it dried the next day.
I called to inform and sent pictures. They agreed it did not look right and offered to have the tech come out again in a few days to try to make it right. After the second cleaning the furniture still has a striped appearance and he told me that was the best he could do. The second cleaning was not a re cleaning like the first (which is what I believe would take to make it right) but a touch up job with a portable unit. I did not take the issue any further as the tech said it was the best he could do so what more could be possibly done.
I would not recommend or use their upholstery cleaning in the future.
UPDATE (Sept 21, 2015): AspenClean contacted me and refunded my price of the cleaning.

Fantastic service. I’ve been using them for years and they consistently provide excellent cleaning at an affordable price. They are friendly, on-​time, and go out of their way to accommodate requests. I would highly recommend.

This company should be out of business. I know that sounds like strong words, but after my experience with them, I wish they were. I hired Aspen Clean to do a simple house cleaning, for one hour. The house was in somewhat rough condition as it hadn’t been professionally cleaned in some time. However, I asked them specifically to do simple tasks, such as clean the kitchen floors, kitchen countertops, dust in the living room area, and vacuum the stairs. None of these tasks were completed. I was not around for the full hour of time they were there, but when I returned near the end, I found their workers (three very young women all of which clearly had very little experience) talking to each other saying things like «Ugh, I can’t take this anymore», «Eww!!!» and making gagging noises. This is COMPLETELY unprofessional behaviour. They were lazy, and clearly had no real training or care about their job. Finally, when I called their manager to address these problems, he said he had to talk to them to review the job. He said that he would send a different team to come clean the areas they didn’t (almost all areas in my opinion) free of charge. Upon calling me back, he said that they were unable to complete these tasks because of the condition of the house. He said that he would not be sending a new team, and that if we wanted to try to complain again, we would have to provide photo documentation of the areas that they didn’t do to prove it. I am sorry, but essentially this manager is telling me that I’m lying to him about their incompetency. I AM THE CUSTOMER. This is completely obscene customer service in my opinion. Please, whoever reads this review, never hire these people.

Updated to confirm Steffanie’s post that someone from AspenClean contacted us after the Unilocal review was posted and offered a free cleaning. The gesture was appreciated, but, as I mentioned to them, the risk of another crew making the same mistake again on a future cleaning (and the cost of refinishing our floors, which would need to be cleared completely as they are resanded, restained and resealed) is an order of magnitude more costly than a cleaning. I’m not sure if they’re insured to cover this type of employee error but if so it wasn’t mentioned.

I had a move-​out clean performed on my home on May 4^th, and found it to be not as thorough a clean as I thought it would be. I was charged $ 250 plus HST for a total of 3 individuals to clean for 1.55 hours. The cleaners did not clean the debris out of the oven drawer, left the washer dryer units dusty, on top and behind the unit was not cleaned, etc. Small inconveniences, yes I know but… I had payed $ 250 dollars for a thorough cleaning of an empty 750sq foot unit. I had mentioned the issues with customer service, and the fact that I had to clean what was not done. I was offered 10% off my next cleaning service but I will not be taking Aspen up on this offer.
*Edited* May12th — I was contacted by Aspen Clean and they have refunded 25% of the cost of the service and I believe that is fair. I appreciate Aspen’s accountability, and their ability to abide by their customer-​service guarantee.

We’ve been using AspenClean for several years now and have recommended them to all of our friends. We found them online when we first moved to Vancouver and have stuck with them ever since.
We love that:
— They bring their own equipment and cleaning supplies, so we don’t have to keep things stocked up. And they use environmentally safe, non-​toxic products which smell amazing — great for people like me with chemical sensitivities.
— It’s a different team of people every week, which keeps things fresh — but they have detailed instructions so you get a consistent clean every week.
— They send a team! So instead of one person cleaning for three hours, you get three people cleaning for one hour — great for us, since we work from home and can’t always take three hours away from the office.
— If and when anything goes awry, customer service is very quick to respond.
We love coming home to our clean clean house every couple of weeks. Highly recommended!
