Best organic high quality meat. A company pleaser in taste and quality. Can never go wrong! Highly recommended

Incredible products and helpful staff! I’ve enjoyed wonderful sausage made in-house, great steaks, and delicious burgers… but I think my favourite is the flattened chicken. Partially de-boned, the chicken is perfect for the grill and the meat is incredibly moist and flavourful. The staff are always good at providing suggestions and offering cooking tips. They’ve ground meat specially when I was craving lamb burgers and I’m sure would help out with any speciality cuts. It is pricey… but the product is certainly worth it!

Sometimes I wish I were born a carnivore. Dry aged beef cut masterfully by a handsome, young, well trained butcher… Honestly, it doesn’t get much better than this. He will cut you ANYTHING. The best thing have eaten from here is a special Argentinian cut of… flank steak I think– great for grilling! Often Sebastian has different types of game meats available as well! The only downfall to this place is it is painfully expensive for a student such as myself.

How about a small, organic butcher right by the ocean that sells almost everything you need to throw a good party? This is it! I love visiting this shop, even if I don’t buy many things often. Sebastian is the owner and he once trained with Toronto chef Jamie Kennedy.(No, not the comedian.) The shop sells dry-aged steaks and has a variety of pork, lamb, beef, poultry and game products. They also make their own line of charcuterie selections and organic cheeses from BC, like Little Qualicum Cheeseworks, Salt Spring Island Cheese Company and Moonstruck Organic Cheese. You’ll also find tapanades, olive oils, crackers, biscuits and balsamic vinegars. How easy was that shopping trip?
