The MTC Factory Outlet (previously known as MTC Clearance Centre), located in Whitby, Ontario, first began selling brand new & B-​Stock (un-​boxed/​scratch & dent) appliances and refurbished electronics in September 2006. The store has greatly expanded since its opening to accommodate the vast amount of inventory. The MTC Factory Outlet sells various premium, trusted brand name new & refurbished electronics (televisions, home theatres, MP3 players, laptops, cameras, camcorders, e-​readers, etc.) and Fisher Paykel, Samsung & Miele New & B-​Stock appliances (dishwashers, laundry systems, coffee makers, hood fans, fridges, etc.). MTC also carries office desks, fireplaces, steam cleaners, vacuums and BBQs! Brands include (but are not limited to): Sony, Samsung, RCA, Boston /​Marantz, Apple, Monster, Miele, Fisher Paykel and Napoleon. All products are sold with warranty (warranties vary by product/​brand). MTC is also an authorized repair depot for canon cameras, playstation systems and ipods /​ipads /​iphone cell phones.

History

Established in 2006.

MTC Factory Outlet (previously known as MTC Clearance Centre) was created as a means to liquidate electronics and appliances on behalf of their Retail/​Manufacturing Customers. MTC also has a service side to their business; specializing in (but not limited to) returned goods/​reverse logistics.

MTC works with various Retail/​Manufacturing Customers to provide support for returned product, product recalls, distribution services, kitting/​packaging services, etc. Many of these Customers take advantage of selling items through their liquidation outlet — the MTC Factory Outlet. This allows the MTC Factory Outlet to offer a wide variety of items for sale at discount prices — some of which are up to 60% off MSRP!
