A continuous strip favorite. They constantly have specials that are worthy of Date Night. Great wine selection and you have to love the staff, we do.

Great view, but the food is kinda pricey. Service is average. I enjoyed my fish and chips, the clam chowder was okay but the crab cake was boring.
They only beer they have is from bigger breweries, I expected some craft brews.

Customer service is bad. The waiter didnt talk to us at all just took our dishes we were still eating.

Service was excellent, the waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. My girlfriend ended up getting one of their daily specials– mango poackhed spot prawns with risotto. The prawns were cooked perfectly.
We went for my birthday, and the dessert was delicious as well. We ended up with a slice of ganache tart and a small scoop of chocolate mousse.
Will definitely go back again.

All food came piping hot. Excellent and tasty. Our server Riley was very attentive and welcoming. Will definitely go again.

The Thai Lemongrass Mussels meat were kinda small and shrank considerably but its sauce was rich and delicious. The popular Fish and Chips were great and of excellent quality. Snapper Fajita is highly recommended. Service is very good.

Five Doors Down used to be one of the best meals on White Rock beach. Unfortunately, times have changed and «Five» is trying to be something it’s not. The setting and the view are lovely. Unfortunately, the food and service do not live up to expectations.
Four of us went to Five for dinner and only one of us got an enjoyable meal. The halibut special was excellent. The burger was overcooked and served with frozen fries. The snapper fajitas were dry and lack lustre. There are no vegetarian entrees, so our server suggested that the kitchen could prepare many of their entrees without meat or seafood. I opted for the curry prawns (minus the prawns). What I received was out of the jar curry paste on some steamed vegetables on rice. When the bill came, there was no adjustment on the price of my entrée for not including prawns, so I was charged $ 26. When I mentioned this to my server, he had the manager adjust the bill by $ 4.
Prices here are way over inflated for the quality of food served. We will not be back.

Ordered the prime rib poutine with high expectations… uhh got McCain Superfries with a huge blob of gravy and some reheated prime rib. Fish & Chips looked good, more Superfries! Never mind, I just took a bite and I shouldn’t have. Who can’t do fish & chips? Well the answer is Five restaurant. Gave up on my meal about 8 bites in with tears running down my cheeks. Bad meal = bad day.

Great food! Came to White Rock for a brief visit and found this by the beach. I had the fish and chips, which was very well cooked and tasty. I also tried the fish fajitas, which were also very nice. The lebni (not sure how it’s spelled) was also excellent. Very good service and excellent food! Definitely coming here next time I drop by White Rock!

Food is good, service is TERRIBLE. waited for 45 minutes before we even got our drinks. This is absolutely ridiculous. Will never come back here again. Which is a real shame because the food is amazing. On top of the bad service, the manager was our server who never attended to us. Pissed. Off.

Awesome. Great service, wonderful food. You always worry about places along the waterfront that coast on the benefit of their location. I’ll come back here often. Very good chowder and fish ‘n’ chips.

Had he Lobster Ravioli for lunch, very good but very rich. Great spot to dine the view is amazing and the menu was broad.
Didn’t get a 5 star as the service was just OK. Left the full glass of wine I ordered because it was turning and not very nice. The problem was that was not asked about that or my meal.
Probably an off day, we all have them. But I shall return as the décor and the charm of FIVE I am sure has a lot to offer.
The stars was a 3 ½ for me.

Went back for dinner with a big group. There were about 15 of us and I think they did a spectacular job of accommodating everyone and their orders. Service was great and the food was absolutely amazing.
I ordered the carpaccio, oysters and their special Blue Marlin fish with black rice and veggies.
All the dishes were on point and I definitely will be coming back.

I’ve had the pleasure of traveling around the world, trying different foods and meeting some unforgettable people. Sadly, Five Restaurant will not be a place where I would ever eat at or go to ever again as it was by far the worst customer service I have ever received.
I generally am not one to complain when it comes to food as I love trying new things and appreciate the art that food is although today was different.
My Mother in Law is in town from Texas and since it is her first time to Canada we really wanted to impress her during her stay therefore we thought this restaurant would be the perfect place to enjoy some fine dining.
To start, there was a minor miscommunication between my Mother in Law and the Waitress when it came to ordering our drinks, being someone who has traveled I’ve learned the hard way that some things are sometimes not what you think they are going to be especially when you don’t know any different. She ordered an Iced Tea, thinking it would be just cold Tea (unsweetened) and they brought her an Iced Tea (loaded with sugar). The waitress took it away and was apologetic but after that my Mother in Law just stuck to water.
When it came time to order dinner, I ordered the Creole Chicken which described it as: «Cooked in creole butte, topped with scallops, lobsters, prawns and julienne peppers, served with new potatoes».
Nowhere did it say that it would be (spicy) hot, therefore once I took a bite I knew I was going to pay for it later as my body does not process spicy food well so I tend to stay away from it therefore if I knew before I ordered I would have had something else. The vegetables were hard yet bland and the potatoes were dry, the chicken itself wasn’t bad although the 2 – 3 scallops they placed on the side were delicious.
Ultimately, I just wasn’t enjoying it therefore once the waitress asked how we were enjoying our meals I decided to tell her the truth in the nicest way possible.
She said she would do something about it, so she left to go talk to cook to either prepare another dish for me or something else for me as she didn’t want me to leave dissatisfied or hungry. I told her that there was no need because I truly did not want to inconvenience or offend anyone; but she was very adamant.
Once she came back, she explained that the guy she spoke with said that «it wasn’t the food but it was my taste-​buds» therefore she couldn’t do anything for me. I could not believe I was made to feel like it was me for not liking something, that is not good customer service at least in my eyes.
So she handed over the bill and said that she included two appetizer coupons, one for calamari or their cheese bread for when we come back. I guess they were supposed to compensate for the Iced Tea and Creole Chicken.
I was absolutely shocked as I have dined at many upscale restaurants, from here to New York to Los Angeles and never have I ever had anyone blame my pallet for their food not being up to par or giving me a coupon for appetizers that they chose for us.
I was and still am insulted, therefore I let them keep their coupons for someone else who would come back because I never will.

Back here once again during the long weekend! Was our last time to enjoy sun before the fall! FIVE was amazing as usual! Had the Five Salad to start & PrimeRib for dinner! My girlfriend had the east coast oysters! and the spinach salad with Prawns for dinner!
Everything was fresh, succulent and on time even though the place was absolutely packed!
Service was amazing! everyone seemed very attentive to our table yet again!
A gentleman out of uniform came to ask us how everything was after we had finished our dinner, he was inviting, genuine and even gave us a free appetizer for our next visit!
Will be back very soon! Will try the calamari next time!
Customer service like this goes a long way and we loved it.

I had the chicken thing with a ton of seafood; my wife had the NY Cheddar Bacon Burger. The prices were reasonable (though on the higher side) and the service was quite prompt. We might just come back here again!

I ordered the oysters and they were divine! My husband ordered two Lebanese dishes’ and they were wonderful! We also ordered jumbo shrimps, the flavours were amazing!
Our service was impeccable!!! Our service was a 20 out of 10! Crystal was our waitress and she was very helpful and very polite and all smiles! Thank you very very much for making our stay so wonderful!!!
We will be back and share the word of the service and of our dining experience!

We came here for our anniversary and it didn’t disappoint. Great menu for anyone and nothing with goat cheese (seems to be the modern twist)…I hate goat cheese. Service was good and the food was fantastic… FIVE gets a FIVE star.

Great food, view, & service. We had the royal miyagi oysters and it went really well with their banana sauce (can’t recall the name of it). Would definitely eat here again if we are in the area.

Love this place! They always are so accommodating Love the patio right across from the pier Greatview beautiful sunsets awesome waitresses friendly customers and awesome wine selections.
Visit often in the summer where my husband and I can sit at the patio or I can come with some girlfriends and have some tapas drink some wine and relax overall great place great food great atmosphere will continue to return !
The staff is always friendly accommodating and the recommendations are always great
