History

Established in 1975.

A family operated local dine-in or take-out favourite since March 1975, the iconic Moby Dick Restaurant is one of the most unique places to dine in White Rock. Located on Marine Drive at the east beach in White Rock since 1975, it has offered consistent excellence in both product, and service, and is now recognized more as a tourist destination, than just a «fish&chips» restaurant.

When planning a vacation to Vancouver BC, visitors from all over the world check off our restaurant on their «must do list» for a feast of fish and chips combined with a walk along the White Rock promenade and pier.

Moby Dick Restaurant has in the past and continues to receive many awards and accolades including:

«People Choice Awards» for Best Fish and Chips — voted No.1, 12 years in a row

«Local Secrets, Big Finds» — Travelocity’s 2005 Poll — Top spot in BC with only 68 hot-spots in Canada from 30,000 entries
