Just another standard sports bar in Windsor. Foolery’s is a sports bar that looked to be an old hotel lobby. They have a bar that extends all along the place as well as a fireplace room? They have some pool tables and arcade games in the back too, which is nice. The place looks to be catered towards an older clientele, more likely the people who stay at the neighboring hotels and motels. There are TV’s everywhere so that is a major plus as well as a pretty stocked bar. Our server was good but didn’t seem to want to crack a smile. The menu is pretty standard and nothing really jumps out. Just good olé burgers, wings, etc. We ordered the 241 Wings specials that they have on Mondays. Wings, beer, and Monday Night Football. I was able to try the Cajun dusted and the Spicy BBQ wings. The wings came with fries, though they were a tiny portion of fries. The wings were actually really good. They were enormous and come about 7 to an order(14 – 15 on Mondays). The cajun dusted was good, but dry wings aren’t always my favorites. That same cajun seasoning can be used on the fries. The spicy bbq wings weren’t spicy at all. They were a bit sweet and smoky. They had good flavor but I was a bit disappointed with the lack of fiery flavor. Really not much else I can say about the place. Very unassuming and seems to be pretty bland and boring. The people are nice and the food isn’t bad, but they need to kick start the place a bit. The most eventful thing I’ll remember is everyone shouting as the Packers were being robbed of a football game…
