J & G Burger Joint

CLOSED. OUT OF BUSINESS. No longer in business. Now a Sushi restaurant. Business closed a few years a go.

Great location. Great concept. But sorry to say, I’d still choose Motorburger over this place.
1^st experience:
My boyfriend and I went on opening night and they were pretty unorganized. We paid for our bill before we got the meal like it was Burger King. That was when I noticed I got charged $ 1.50 for tap water. I brought it to the attention to the waitress, who was clueless. However, the owner came out & made it right by buying each of us a cupcake.
2^nd experience:
Since I live down the street, I walked in there for lunch by myself one day. Had the turkey burger, sweet potato fries and a glass of water. $ 20! I fully understand this is premium organic meat, but still.
They also have some odd hours (ie; not remaining open late Fridays/​Saturdays).
And I’ll be honest, ever since I saw in the Windsor Star that they ripped off their entire restaurant’s concept from another ‘Burger Lounge’ in the states, this place just seemed sketch to me. Everything, the entire menu, logo/​colours and even interior décor was copied. That explains the forced business name change from ‘Burger Lounge’ to ‘Burger Joint’.
I give it 3 stars because of the location, good (not great) food and ((slightly)) original concept.
