I was very surprise with the new management, totally difference from previous management! Super good service and a lot more choice of AYCE! I love their new cowboy roll and the Korean beef! The main point is the price didn’t change! Still $ 19.99!

This place isn’t even worthy of a star. Don’t recommend it. Rude waitresses and lengthy time to bring out your order if they allow you to order more. We came and left within half an hour and there were only 3 tables in the whole place. I would recommend the place down the street. Takka sushi !

i recieved a menu in the mail recently that stated they were under management and did delivery now, so i was excited to give them a try again. my husband ordered the maki a combo and sashimi b combo for take out for $ 30. i wasnt blown away and found the rolls to be very fishy infact, we barely ate it. when we first relcoated to windsor, we ate the all you can eat alot and everytime i am less and less impressed with the service level, the lack of food quality and the place seems dirty. everything you touch has a layer of grime on it. the restaurant isnt really kid friendly. having a little one i prefer takeaway, its nice to see some new food options in south windsor, however i dont think i will be ordering from here again.

As a white person you generally expect terrible service from a restaurant serving authentic Asian cuisine. YUP I said it! This hole is no exception. Sushi is amazing but be prepared to be ignored, food orders to be slow and to get scammed wherever possible. Sick thing is I will probably go back for the abuse. It is so bad I go with friends just to show them. It is a bit like the Soup Nazi off of Seinfeld. You go for good food and to be insulted. If I find another all you can eat Sushi place with better service I will switch. Until then abuse me and take as much of my money as you can.

Forget what you’ve heard, the difference between the old and new management is night and day. The food was fresh and tasty and the service was prompt and friendly. My fiancé and I opted for the all you can eat dinner and were not disappointed. The chicken teriyaki rolls were probably one of our favourites as we had two orders of them, and two orders of the cucumber and avocado rolls. Their dynamite rolls are also among my top picks, along with pretty much anything found on their specials menu. The only drawback? All of the ingredients in the specials aren’t listed, so I was a bit dismayed when one came topped with mango as I’m allergic. The staff was extremely kind and concerned when this was brought to their attention, which made up for it in my mind. All said it was a great meal and we will be back.

It was my first time here. I am visiting the city and even the food is very good and they have an all you can eat that might work well; the service is very very slow. I think they do this on purpose so when they come to see if you want something else to eat(Which never happened to me) you are not hungry any more. If you come here just make sure you order all at once. Also salmon is not perfect I think it was frozen.

Okay, with Tenko you get your typical all you can eat sushi experience. The food is great but that’s because it’s sushi – there’s nothing to really make it stand out from the crowd other than its location. Obviously being right across from Silver City it makes for a great night out and they’re pretty good about not forgetting your orders – unlike other places. But again it’s not amazing, mind-blowing food. It’s just good.

Best all you can eat sushi around… heck it’s better then most regular sushi joints I have been to in town… I am disappointed when we go anywhere else really…

The food food here is good. They have a nice variety of sushi and other food for non-sushi eaters. I took my wife and three kids there for Mother’s Day weekend dinner. We had to order our second round three times because they kept forgetting it. I’m guessing they misplaced the paper, and every time we flagged a server down to ask where our food was, they couldn’t find the order. A nice family dinner took almost three and a half hours. Good food but make sure you’re not in a hurry

I have never been outwardly angry in a restaurant before and I ALWAYS tip, usually quite well. It was a busy day and I understand they were short staffed but we were served an hour after our order, we didn’t receive everything and they weren’t taking our second order and then the lunch buffet was done. I was HUNGRY leaving a buffet. We were served well after multiple groups behind us were served. I felt very ignored. They didn’t even have any plates or cutlery out after we were served. I was so hungry I just used my hands. At the end I stood up with my hands on my hips and demanded a deduction because I didn’t even eat half of what I normally do. She said she was giving me 15% off but I paid more than the lunch buffets price with taxes so I really don’t think I got anything. My friends were surprised to hear this so hopefully this isn’t a common occurrence. But just awful.

Wait staff not cordial nor welcoming. Presentation was average. Rolls kept falling apart. Prices decent. Nothing to rave about. One visit was enough and will not be returning. Came during lunch.

An all you can eat sushi restaurant with a very large selection. The food is quite good for a buffet style restaurant and comparable to the other sushi buffets in the city. I did find the service was a bit slow.

Went on a sunday night around 730. Not a lot of people. Quiet spot. It does get packed on fri and sat nights. The all you can eat for $ 20 is worth it. Menu has a lot of options other than just sushi or sashimi like general tao wings which are absolutely amazing we had to order it twice and also lots of chicken, beef and pork entrees and dishes too. Food was good and service was equally good. Not sure of other peoples experience but ours was great. Maybe due to it being not so busy. Rolls are quite good. Granted i have had better but its very very good for $ 20 and all you can eat. Recommend the mango crispy, double fire, windsor, fire mountain and california rolls. There are a few that i forgot but all in all we liked every roll and again the general tao wings is a must try! Get rolling!

I prefer Tenka over here now and basically for one reason: awful service. There is this ONE waitress with a short bob haircut(doesn’t wear glasses) and she’s one of the worst waitresses I have EVER encountered. She rushes you, rolls her eyes at you, openly displays she doesn’t want to refill your drink, and she’ll notice you looking her way when you’re either waving her over or have your marked buffet sheet and IGNORE you. The only reason I do come back is the food is good and the other waiters and waitresses are very nice. The crappy part is the awful waitress is there most nights.

The sushi here is great. The rolls are a tad on the big side, but not too big. Everything is very fresh and flavorful. They also have Chinese food here(wonton soup, chicken balls, etc). It’s fresh and less heavy than traditional Chinese food. The service however is where this place is lacking. I had to ask where the rest of my food was and bring up my menu for them. They don’t seem interested in checking back at the table for food or drink needs. Worth the visit. You’ve just gotta keep on top of them.

The mushroom beef roll appetizers are perfect and the green onion one is good too if you like onion :) you know what I mean. The sushi is great — still don’t like deep fried banana in my sushi but that’s just me. Hubby likes the tempura stuff but I’m trying to stay away from that so ate sweet potato he doesn’t like. Much better service. Only downer: Bathroom floors need scrubbing. I always wonder how clean kitchens are based on bathrooms.

The quality here is mildly inconsistent, but the management is truly interested in running a good business and gets kudos for that. And, as a fellow reviewer said, this is AYCE-quality sushi. Keep your expectations low and you won’t be disappointed. Occasionally you might even be impressed. Not 5-star impressed, but content nonetheless. Service can be choppy, but for the most part is decent. If you are here on a Friday or Saturday night, woe is you. On par with their friends at Hoi, this place is neither stellar nor bad. It’s safe.

Keep the following in perspective: 1) It’s «All You Can Eat», and 2) It’s Windsor. As for #1, when you go anywhere for all you can eat — regardless of the cuisine — it’s extremely rare that you’re going to get Michelin Star quality. With that in mind and knowing that the purpose is to have a sushi feast without breaking the bank, then Tenko is a good option. Yes, they can’t always fill the orders perfectly(so order it again — it won’t cost you more!), and yes — the service can be a little slow, but the selection isn’t bad and its not often in all you can eat sushi places they include sashimi. You will get descent quality fish and lots of choices and you won’t leave hungry. As for point #2, this is not a slight to Windsor but this is not a city known for its culinary prowess. So again, keeping that in mind it’s nice that at least the option for an all you can eat sushi place with ok quality fish that won’t make you sick exists. Tenko does a good job of providing a good variety of sushi at a fair price.

As a Vancouver transplant one of the things I worried about the most was how bad the sushi would be in this backwater area, as it turns out the sushi at Tenko is really good! They have a good sized AYCE menu, good prices and the rolls and everything I have had was done well. Its hard to compete with real sushi from Vancouver but this little sushi joint does an admirable job, im a fan!

One of the best All You Can Eat Sushi places in Windsor. Tenko is a great all you can eat sushi place in a city littered with them. I’ve been to just about all of them and feel this one belongs up there with the rest in the city. The place itself is very nice and clean. The staff is slow to pick your order up, but once they do, the food comes pouring in very quickly. The lunch menu is fantastic and has more options than many of the other places around town. I was impressed by the amount of things they had for lunch. The sushi here is great. There’s nothing bad you can really say about it. I was really digging the hand rolls and the sushi held together wonderfully. The quality wasn’t the greatest but it was very good nonetheless. The Green Dragon Roll and the Spicy Crab Roll were favorites of mine and deserve a spot on anyone’s order list. Other rolls like Teriyaki Chicken and Calamari roll are incredible. The nigiri is great too. The shrimp and salmon sushi were great, but the crab was a bit cold and stale. Hot food was good too. I loved that the quality of much of the Chinese food was better than some of the Chinese restaurants in Windsor. The Generals Tso’s Chicken was some of the best in the city(even though Im not a big fan of Chinese takeout). The korean short ribs are fantastic and are always a favorite. The beef don is wonderful too because its beef on top of rice with a runny egg and onions. I could write more about all the variety of things we tried, or you can just go out and try it yourself. The lunch menu was impressive in the large variety of items they offered and for 13.95?! Good deal for good food. Don’t expect the highest quality sushi because that’s not what they’re there for. They are here to give you the best quality that a sushi buffet will offer.
