The night we went here was very loud. It’s a sports bar so you kind of expect that. Bartender was very friendly, we went out for a smoke and a couple took our seat at the bar and he kindly told them we were sitting there and asked them to move keep in mind he was very busy too. It’s a nice place to watch a big sports event. Their pitcher of coors was only around 11 – 13? Which is pretty damn cheap for windsor

Decent food and good lunch/drink specials. There are a few tv’s around in the corners. Just a very average sports bar. No thrills. Server was nice. Food was somewhat warm and took a while to come. Good location in the middle of downtown Windsor.

I was just here for lunch and found out it is not even listed in Unilocal yet, which surprised me. The place is a good duck in. Right on the corn and next door to the Honest Lawyer, the beer is cheap, the food is good, and it is a bar bar. No pretentious anything. Beat up floor, regulars at the bar chatting with the career bar waitresses who are paying friendly attention in passing to the customers. This is my kind of place. I had the Philly cheese steak and was shocked at how good the meat was. It was tender, tasty, and if it would have been a steak, it would have been the best bar steak I ever had. The French fries that came with the sandwich were hand cut, crispy, and perfect with a bit of mayo. My friend had chicken strips, which were of decent quality and neither of us had any complaints. A real plus is that the beer was served at about 32 degrees, with just that slight slush on the surface, so by the time the 24 ounces were finished, even the last sip was nice and chilled. Before wandering in here, I knew nothing about the place, but found out later that it must have been here for quite some time, because it happens to be one of my dad’s favorite places to hang out in as well. Nice when one finds out they are really following in his father’s taste and footsteps.
