Cousins is a really fun place to hang out. The people who work there are always welcoming and make you feel at home. It’s busy often but not annoyingly loud like a lot of other places, has a nice buzz on Friday nights. The bar selection is small but charming and it’s cool how big the menu is given the size of the kitchen. I’ve had many a knish there and their club sandwich is perfect. They also have cucumber water for whoever wants which is rare to find. I’ve always been meaning to go with a group to their New Years party which looks like a lot of fun. Maybe this year!

A very nice remodel and expansion makes this atmosphere great. Fantastic samosas and the best veggie burger in the city! A great place to meet friends, and the staff are very friendly. A nice local feel to it.

A pitcher of local brew with a bitter moldy taste will cost you $ 16, and you can get some soggy(previously frozen?) microwaved knishes or samosas for $ 3 each. This place is neither a deli or lounge, it’s a café. The quality of service completely depends on how well you know whoever is working when you are there. And if a 40-year-old guy doesn’t hit on your girlfriend while spilling your beer; you don’t get asked by four people for a cigarette and/or you don’t get overcharged on your beer receipt, you can count that evening as ‘a-okay’ at Cousin’s.
