D-lish cinnamon buns and good coffee. What more could you want? A good place to sit and read or hang out with friends and catch up.

Great little place on Pembina(across from the Safeway near McGillivray and Pembina). There’s a little café inside that serves up soup sandwiches, coffees, lattes and teas while the other side is the bakery selling fresh baked breads, cookies, muffins, cakes etc. It is a sit down place though not a ton of seating but enough for a place like this. The mini chocolate dome($ 2.99) is an individual size chocolate coated mousse, with a soft chocolate cake bottom and a tiny taste of caramel in the middle of the dome. The dome is very light for something this chocolately. I’d definitely get this gain. I got an apple turnover($ 1.75), cherry turnover($ 1.99), apple streudel($ 2), mini chicken pot pie($ 2.50). The turnovers were very flaky and weren’t too sweet. The cherry one has some custard inside too which was nice. The apple streudel was a bit sweeter than the apple turnover but was still good. The mini chicken pot pie had a flaky crust but was missing some major seasoning. Most of the fresh baked breads range from $ 2.50 for the white bread to about $ 4.50 for more specialty breads. The baguette($ 2.50) is pretty good though not as crusty as others but tastes good when warmed up as it is kinda chewy. Overall service was nice though the person there didn’t have much tasting knowledge of the products but told me which items were most popular. Most of their items like cakes and brownies are sold by the slice but if you want to get a whole cake, you can definitely order with them, there aren’t any whole cakes just sitting there for pick up. Lots of fresh baked bread that looked really delicious as well as some packaged cookies, cinnamon buns, tarts etc.
