It’s odd how Winnipeg doesn’t have many places for threading. There is way less redness afterward with threading, it’s more precise and most importantly way more hygienic than waxing (no chance of double dipping or reusing wax).
I had my eyebrows and upper lip threaded by Anita. She did an ok job. It looked good and there was little redness right after. BUT I do feel ripped off for $ 35 bucks without tip for like 5 minutes of work. It’s not like I was surprised by the amount since I checked the price points online before and threading is a skill. But in Toronto (where I’m from) it’s like $ 5 – 10 and you never need an appointment because there are so many places and lots of ladies dedicated to threading. I hope this will change for Winnipeg one day. Until then there’s tonic.

Staff is friendly but not a good sign when my daughter is in tears cause she DOES NOT LIKE her hair… VERY disappointed…
They have redeemed themselves in my eyes… Redid her hair at no extra charge … They really do believe in having happy clients! Would recommend them for sure!!! Thanks everyone!
