On this hip(and somewhat hidden) street is Café Argomedo 60(named conveniently for the street it is located on). As you walk by you can’t help put look in to its large windows boasting a dark wood and metal décor — it is mysterious and enticing you to come sit for awhile. Since my partner and I were looking for a good lunch spot, we decided to come inside. As we were walking in, we noticed their sign: all-natural hamburgers(boy, was my partner happy!). When we walked in, we were surprised to find it be not only a lunch spot but also a boutique — very original! We were sat down quickly(we came at an awkward time and we were essentially the only people in the place). The waiters were super nice and let us know about their daily special and hamburger option — I opted for the menu(appetizer, main dish, dessert and a drink for 3.750) while my partner went for the hamburger. We were both happily surprised and decided to order a coffee to go with our dessert(you have to try their white cake with fruit and cream — delicious!). The coffee quality was excellent and we had to roll ourselves out the door(the servings were large and filling). Great lunch spot and café(WIFI is good here)!

La primera impresión que te da este café cuando miras por su pequeña ventana, es de un lugar acogedor con su pisos de madera, una moderna barra de café decorado con las tazas que son las encargadas de deleitar con un buen café a sus visitantes, en general un café típico pero al entrar te das cuenta del gran secreto que guarda en su interior!, una tienda boutique y es que este café boutique es uno de los pocos en Santiago que yo conozca bajo ese nombre. Así es este local ademas de tener un riquísimo Frapucchino y unas hamburguesas caseras, pero caseras de verdad, que si bien no son las mas gigantes son verdaderamente deliciosas, tiene también una especie de «showroom» de diseñadores independientes en donde cada semana muestran lo mejor de su arte. Un lugar unico en el sector ideal para juntarse con las amigas a tomar un café y vitrinear un poco.
