Radisson Blu Royal Hotel

Had an excellent stay here. Welcoming, inviting and the service impeccable. Its central location and great views make this an excellent choice. Would def stay here again!

Great location in the centre, next to the central railway station and across the road from Tivoli. Fantastic views (I was on the 16^th floor) and a nice room, although not the biggest. The price for the location and standard was quite reasonable.
I didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment but I was very happy with my stay and the service at reception.
The only complaint was the outrageous cost for laundry (the cost of washing 20 shirts will buy you a new good quality washing machine), if you need it and have time, try the Laundromat café, 5 to 10 minutes walk away.

Centrally located. Across central train station. Close to pedestrian walking area. Did not rate this place higher because of below average quality of service and facilities. Nice and expensive marketing efforts should be redirected to better service, adequate dtaffing and facilities. Super long queues at reception for checkin; computer acting up during checkin; elevator not secured; all computers were down in guest area for printing boarding passed; dirty grout in bathroom; bathrooms not cleaned everyday; towels not replaced after 2 pm yet. Had to look for maud; asked reception why room was not cleaned yet after 2 pm, answer was i do not know; exorbitant price for poor service; dirty rooms; and poor facilities. Room décor was the 1950s green; not pleasing to the eye and complicated by poor lighting of the narrow room with single bed. I was expecting better accommodations than park inn by cph airport but radisson blu royal was way worse for three times the price with no breakfast!!! Spending lots of monies in advertising, fancy websites do not make up for the dismal rooms, dirty bathrooms, faulty service, and poor facilities. Put the customer first!

Fantastic property at an ideal location. Directly across from the Central train station and Tivoli. The staff was great and Uffe in Concierge pulled off the miracle of miracles… that being a reservation at Noma! I would highly suggest staying at this hotel if you are in Copenhagen!

This Radisson — and there are several in Copenhagen — was a pleasant find. It is virtually across the street from the Town Square, and across the street from Tivoli. The views of Copenhagen are outstanding. Rooms are spacious, and the buffet breakfasts (particularly the scramble eggs) are outstanding. Service is good, however, with all of the tour busses in and out of this hotel, the thin staff is taxed.

Das ist nur eine Bewertung über die Bar — im Reiseführer wurde diese angepriesen mit eine der besten für Cocktails. Leider war dem nicht ganz so… Der Moscow Mule war nicht als solcher herauszuschmecken. Das Ambiente ist auch nicht so toll. Die Preise dafür natürlich wieder ordentlich.

We stayed at this hotel for a night a couple of weeks ago. The check in staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. We were quickly checked in and up in our room. The room itself is extremely underwhelming. It reminded me of a room display in IKEA. The room was small, the bathroom even smaller and the shower leaked through the glass seal all over the floor. However, we had a lovely view of the Tivoli Gardens. The bar staff was equally as friendly and accomodating and we enjoyed several drinks with them. Our breakfast experience was not as pleasant. Nothing particular happened, but the staff seemed rushed and uninterested. It took a couple of attempts to get our bill correct… or even to get a staff member’s attention for the bill. The hotel is in a great location, but should I ever return to Copenhagen I would probably choose a different hotel.

Le petit déjeuner est superbe, tout en haut de l’immeuble.
Les chambres sont comme on s’y attend, bien noter les fenêtres aluminium d’époque magnifiques qui laissent parfois passer un peu d’eau pendant les tempêtes mais on leur pardonne.
Les salles de bain en marbre sont aussi de belle facture.

For me this hotel is overrated. Yeah, it has a nice design and central location but that’s it.
The room was renovated, but rather small. We had a great view over the Tivoli, but you wouldn’t want to open the windows because is was just too loud — in the 19^th floor!
The concierge was a disappointment. I asked him about the light show and the fireworks in the Tivoli at that evening. He asserted there would be no light show today because of the fireworks. That proved to be wrong at the end. Both shows took place. I would have prefered an «I don’t know» over a wrong answer… Wrong information let the concierge become useless to me.
I was especially disappointed about the acknowledgement of my status in their loyality programme: I neither got an upgrade (although available) nor was my partner included in the free breakfast offer.
I have had so many stays at different Radissons and Park Inns now, but nowhere was my partner excluded from the breakfast invitation. That’s very irritating!
But I guess at this hotel they don’t need the extra customer satisfaction. It’s well booked anyway.
Last but not least: The breakfast wasn’t very special. Limited variety of juice, which in addition comes from a machine — not very appetising. At least the waffles tasted very good.

Rooms are clean. I was lucky room 1911 best view of all central I mean awesome views. Breakfast was great they have everything… stayed here 3 days. Will be back.

Special shoutout to Martin Raun on the concierge desk for owning a problem and trying every way possible to solve it. In the end, it was not solved but the fault was not his and we area grateful to him for putting out mind at ease that we had done everything possible.

I have stayed in a few of these Radisson Blu hotels around Europe and they seem to be consistent and good. They are not cheap but not crazy expensive either. This one has a nice location near the Tivoli amusement park if that matters to you. The staff was very good, breakfast was nice but a little pricey. I’d stay here again when visiting Copenhagen.

From an old work trip. Location-​wise this hotel is centralized. It is right opposite the Tivoli gates, Hard Rock and the train station. It is surrounded by cafes and restaurants, convenience stores, car rentals and tall blond people riding bicycles. Rooms are Scandinavian (think Ikea… OK, that’s another country across the bridge), so it’s sort of spartan, not great. …think European rooms i.e. small in size. Hey this is for work, it’s not like I’m going back to Bali or Kauai.
The concierge were pretty helpful and answered most of the questions on how to drive to Ballerup without hitting a pack of cyclists while deciphering the street signs with those funny looking «O“s with dots and dashes on them. Overall, I’d stay here again because the hotel is in the middle of interesting things to see.

The rooms are great however customer service is awful. The room AC is only giving off heat and the hotel is unable to do anything about it. They say 100% satisfaction guarantee but this is not true. For the price I would think twice before staying here again.

This has been my favorite hotel ever since I was a kid — call it nostalgia but a stay a few weeks ago only reinforced how much I like this hotel.
Don’t expect the luxurious rooms that you would find in Bangkok or the service you would find in Dubai. But what it does offer are good sized rooms and spectacular views of Copenhagen
The hotel is centrally located within walking distance to Tivoli Gardens, the train station and Stroeget.
Famed Danish designer Arne Jacobsen created the décor so it’s a bit retro modern.
