There are not many places where you can find 5-euro pizza in an expensive Nordic city like Helsinki :) Their pizzas are not like 5-star quality but they taste good and the size is great. I mean what else do you expect for a budget price?

I love how they are open late and their pizzas are big and good… Been here 4 times and have always been satisfied. Prices are great if your on a budget.

Spent a week in Helsinki — my first time. I wanted pizza, but had no idea where to get any. Asked a teen with dreadlocks who was eating pizza on some steps where he got his and if it was good. «It’s f*****g great!» he says, and points me in the direction of Barbarossa. Good enough for me. Pizza/kabob places are new to me, but cool. I won’t say what they charged, but it was lower than menu price. I thought I was ordering 2 smalls, but these things literally concealed an entire plate. They were crisp and fresh and really hit the spot. Sure, the mushrooms were canned and they were cut weird, but talk about good cheap eats! It’s definitely a young hangout and a locals place, so if that makes you uncomfortable, you may want to look elsewhere. But I’d hit up Barbarossa again in a heartbeat!
