Good pizza place for a thin crust pie.
We went here on a Sunday night and it wasn’t too busy.
Order at the bar then sit down and wait for the goodness to arrive.
We ordered a Margherita and a Serrano ham, cherry tomato & Arugula (one of the specials). Both were tasty.
Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t think I was back in NYC or anything, but they were quite good.
Nice tasting crust and good, fresh ingredients.
The food was delivered quickly and the staff was good.
I will go back when in town.
Beer selection was slightly below average.

The most absurd business model I’ve seen. So you pay 2,50 to «leave your jackets» and then wait for a table for 30 minutes. A great place to visit on Friday night. They sure needed that extra 2,50. Just wow.

Ich war zum Abendessen in diesem Restaurant und muss sagen für né schnelle Pizza ist es sehr gut geeignet. Das Restaurant an sich ist schlicht im Industrial-​Design eingericht. Bestellt wird an der Bar und auch gleich bezahlt. Es gibt also keinen Service. Trotzdem ist das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Speisekarte des Restaurants ist recht überschaubar. Es gibt eine Karte mit den klassischen Pizzen und noch eine Sondertafel mit (in unserem Fall) fünf Tagespizzen. Ich hab mich für die Pizza mit Lamm und Sesam von der Tageskarte entschieden und schon nach 5 Minuten stand die Pizza an meinem Tisch. Die Pizza hat einen schön dünnen knusprigen Teig und schmackhaften Belag. Gekostet hat diese Pizza allerdings 15 €, was für deutsche Verhältnisse schon ziemlich teuer wäre, in Finnland aber noch voll in Ordnung. Also, né schnelle Pizza kann hier gut gegessen werden.

I like Putte’s. Much better than average pizzas but nothing orgasmic. Three stars would be too little cos they’ve got cool photos on the walls. Hah. Nah man, actually this is your good old hipster-​esque place with cool dudes and girls. But 7 € for a Peroni is maybe a bit pushing it.

Great pizza, in a nice place with pleasant drinks, and good wine are the start of what you get here. The rest is a Finnish hipstertastic experience. From the Weezer playing on the stereo to the fully pierced and tattooed staff — I was thinking I was in Portland.
Good news is I liked the place, I really loved the place and I’ll go back when I can. I’ll just remember to wear flannel.

First of all, I must say that I really liked the pizza there. They don´t have a lot of topping options though. Cold beer and cider was a plus. Good music (though a Bowie cd on repeat got a little annoying after some time…) and good atmosphere.
Good place to go with a group of friends and relax and talk.

Pizza war super… Kann man gar nix mäkeln.
Das Konzept ist denkbar einfach: rein, Pizza ordern und Getränk am Tresen mitnehmen (Self Service), Pizza wird dann an den Tisch gebracht.
Im Untergeschoß ist noch né Bar.
Insgesamt macht der Laden einen ‘abgenutzten Eindruck, aber es ist sauber. Personal wirkte etwas reserviert, aber keineswegs unfreundlich. Also, lohnt sich! Und schmeckt richtig lecker.
Preise sind für Helsinki mittel.

Puttes is a really fun place to hang out, eat some delicious pizza and get a little (or very) intoxicated. They have a limited yet satisfying selection of pies and I trust their wines!
In the summer you can sit outside and enjoy their pizza under the midnight sun, in the winter you can mingle indoors and dance to whatever funky tunes they’ve got playing.
Puttes has a pretty cosmopolitan/​hipster vibe, which I would usually feel pretty annoyed about but in Helsinki that’s actually a good thing!
I would give this place 5 stars, but if you visit there more than once you’ll find that the quality of the pizza is inconsistent. A real a bummer, cause when they’re good, they’re REALLY good! And no one want’s to pay $ 20 for Meh.

Some say it’s the only real Italian pizza place in Helsinki. Others just go there for the athmosphere. Putte’s is a nice and very centrally located pizzeria in Kalevankatu.
You won’t find any fancy pizza topping like at Skiffer here but if you are more into the standards like salami, funghi and margherita this is definately the place to go.
It’s also a nice hangout for a beer or wine after work and since it’s so spacious you should always be able to find a table (at least during the week).

Putte’s is one of those places I, in a neutral way, well, like. No strong feelings in one direction or the other. The pizzas are quite heavy on the dough which I (a sworn friend of carbs) like, but I know some people find them too doughy. The wine is fairly cheap, the interiors are nice, the location is great and the worst hipsterness (can’t believe I used that word, ugh) has worn off.

Right amount of ingredients. 6 pizza to choose from so no confusions. Thin crust, crispy on the edges. Good price. Goes head to head with Vespa. Music was a bit loud but that might be just a coincidence.
