Our service and food was thankfully, significantly better than other reviewers. Maybe we lucked out. We dined on Christmas! We were greeted and seated right away. Our server was prompt and checked on us often. Sometimes you can read a restaurant and know not to try anything too crazy. We ordered the croque monsieur and a pork dish. The pork dish was very comforting and delicious; it was like brisket in a sun-dried tomato sauce served with rice. The croque monsieur was tasty(haven’t had one anywhere where I would write home about though). Other staff was helpful; I alerted someone that the women’s bathroom needed toilet paper; which was replenished within a few minutes. Very cute restaurant, cozy interior.

Just disgusting! Please just avoid. Food has no flavour and the waiters are perhaps the rudest I’ve ever met. One waiter sat us down and left us to find a different waiter to order. Only to be passed unto another. Everything takes so long and the food is revolting. Charged to even use the loo! — Don’t even bother honestly

Terrible service! Very rude waiter that will not take the time to get your complete order. We felt like we were an inconvenience. WALKAWAY from this place.

Absolutely no reason to come here. Easily the worst food I had in Paris. Service was decent enough but that is the is the only redeeming quality of this place. Steak was dry, fries were soggy and of poor quality for the price. On top of everything, you had to pay for the toilet!

C’est différant, Can the service of one waiter make a restaurant? Well, in the case of this reviewer, Yes. Arrival was just past the posted 15:00 lunch special and the restaurant was busy; however, there were several tables on the shady side. While her mom and I settled into our seats, My wife discovered a metal(coin shaped) slug was required to use the restroom and had to be acquired from the hostess.(Good to know) Meanwhile, I made contact with our waiter and ordered a pitcher of water(pichet d’eau) with 3 glasses. I couldn’t have been any clearer on that, yet he returns with an 8.60 euro bottle of mineral water. At the moment, I was thirsty and was not aware of the cost. I accepted. For some crazy reason, I needed to utilize the services of the restroom as well. I went up front to request a slug and was rewarded with instructions to go downstairs, «Hmm, okay?» So, I go and voilà the door is locked and(just as instructed by my on-point wife) in need of a coin or slug. I return to the hostess to get a coin and was rewarded with the slug I had originally asked for. Minor humiliation, but I’m a big boy and took care of that. Ordering from the menu was easy(French/English)… The selections of main courses and salads were good. After bringing the water mistake to the waiter’s attention and asking for more water in the pitcher, his attitude changed. We placed our orders and waited. Approximately 15 minutes later, the waiter returned to announce the plate I ordered was out. Ahhh, great to know as my wife and mother-in-law receive their salads. I declined to reorder and finished my small salad and bread. As a final bit of criticism, we had to ask for bread, the pitcher of water was not refilled(no offer), the dessert ordered during the original order was not received, and… After waiting a long time for the check, the waiter added 2 bottles of mineral water. I guess he knew his tip was in question and he thought he would take advantage. Yes, I said it. His attitude was childish and I sent him back to correct. He did so and we departed, disappointed over-all. Two stars due to location, selection, and the possibility the waiter was simply having a bad day. We will not return; there are too many nice places to dine and this one isn’t on the list.

This restaurant is really cute! It looks right out of a movie set. I got the veggie lasagna and a chocolate crêpe. Both couldn’t have been better! The wines are also pretty good.

Looks like I have some catching up to do! I came here last night after wandering the city, trying to decide what I was in the mood for. Enter Brasserie de la tour Eiffel. I ordered french onion soup, a side of fries, and a cup of tea. The soup was pretty good; there was even bread with cheese melted on top that I think I enjoyed more than the soup itself! Fries were decent; not soft or soggy. To finish, I had the tarte tartin which was pretty awesome; they serve that with a side of chantilly cream(which I personally could live without) Service was polite; my server spoke English pretty well but she was working the whole side of the restaurant by herself which resulted in some long delays in check ins.

Brasserie de la Tour Eiffel Cette brasserie est situé sur le quai entre le Tour Eiffel et le musée Branly, dans un quartier sympa. Je n’ai testé que la partie bar. Le service est correct et les prix abordables.

This restaurant is right around the corner from the Eiffel Tower, so naturally I thought it would be expensive and not very great tasting. But I was wrong. The food was actually pretty good considering. My boyfriend and I both ordered the spaghetti bolognese and the house wine. The spaghetti was cooked perfectly and the bolognese was very tasty. The bread was soft inside with perfect crunch on the outside and the wine was great. The restaurant was clean, the service was great, they spoke English — which helps a lot when you speak very little French. When visiting the Eiffel Tower and you’re really hungry and need to eat right away, you can’t go wrong with choosing this place.

Touristy, not too clean, very average food. Walk a bit more and find somewhere else to eat,

We had our first meal in Paris here. We expected it to be very touristy, considering the proximity to Eiffel tower. It is actually not bad, price was decent too.

This is the worst restaurant in which I have ever eaten in Paris… We ordered the rib-eye steak, which came with Terrible French fries(I felt like I was chewing gum) the salad with a strong vinegary taste, mostly friese(sp?) and… The meat had no flavor. Really really awful place. I’m honest — 80% of my meal stayed on the plate. Very bad experience !!! Awful !!!

Daughter had fried eggs with side salad(came with meal). There were 3 eggs, tasty. Husband had quiche Lorraine. It was good, not special. I had ham and cheese on panini my son and i both liked that and he ate very little of the ham and cheese omelette. Cheese on omelette was very strong hard cheese not great for kids taste buds. Good if hungry, but not great. Menu’s in English.

One of the best brasseries in a very touristy area. Many good dishes. Avoid the Beouf Bourgenoine.
