Hôtel Timhotel Le Louvre

Booked a three night stay in early July 2015 for myself and my mom. We are relatively low key travelers and the hotel hit all its marks: clean, quiet, easily accessible, great customer service, great value, strong wifi and extremely good location.
It’s very close to the Louvre, Musee D’orsay, the islands, restaurants, and central metro stops. It’s also near a distinct building, making it easy to spot the hotel on our walks back. The streets felt safe to walk on at night as late as 2am.
Most importantly for us, the AC and wifi worked very well (lived on 5^th/​top floor).
We don’t mind small bedrooms as we are only in there to sleep and are out of the hotel for the majority of the day.
The only minor negative is that, even I’ll admit the bathrooms were small and the amenities were of below average quality (rough towels, mediocre soap and no hair dryer) but for our short stay, we could get through it easily.
Place worked out to about 131 euro a night, which I found fairly reasonable

Great location, friendly staff. Most of the complaints concern the (very small) size of the shower. The secret is to stand still and take the shower wand off the wall to rinse.
The Wi-​Fi signal was not very strong in my room (108). Tiny elevator, so try to get a room on the 1^st floor if you have a lot of luggage. Cold breakfast consisting of croissants, premade crapes, salami, ham, hard-​boiled eggs, jams and jellies, juice, coffee.
Small breakfast area so if there is a tour group in the hotel it will be crowded.

Confort: peut mieux faire
Impossible de fermer les yeux. Du bruit toute la nuit, de toute part. Imagination sublissime grâce à l’épaisseur des murs; Grande déception le lendemain matin en voyant mes voisins…

Un petit grand hôtel
Très bien situé, cet hôtel réunit tout ce que nous désirons pour un hôtel. Le prix est très bon et, aussi, l’accueil. Par contre le confort est moyen.

Not a very nice hotel
I stay in this hotel for 2 nights because it’s really in a very nice place near Le Louvre, BUT it’s very very very small and also they don’t clean the room very well. I really don’t think to reserve this hotel for and other treap…
