We saw signs leading to here after getting out of the catacombs. Happy hour had just begun, so we said why not. We were greet with a server who asked us if we spoke English(very comforting). She was extremely nice and helpful. Free WiFi(I’ll throw this out there). Happy Hour menu was good. Fries were delicious, and we also had the escargot, which was very buttery and yummy.

This place was recommended to me after my tour of the Catacombs. Stopped in for lunch and was greeted by a friendly staff. Ordered the lunch special and it was tres bien! Roasted canard. Totally recommend this place and any time I’m in the 14th Arr of Paris I know where I’m going to eat!

Great service! Great food! Wait staff had really good recommendations(roasted duck and goat cheese and garlic egg rolls). The owner came and spoke with us for a while. He speaks five languages so wherever you’re from, you’re good. Relatively new and next to the catacombs. Definitely a hidden gem!

Stayed near le Comptoir for a week while teaching a class. Had lunch, dinner, drinks several times over the week. A very pleasant vibe; the owners and waiters were extremely sympa and helpful. Had super delicious goat cheese salad and several small plates during the week. All very tasty and filling. On a scorching hot day had a great tasting monitor. Prices reasonable for Paris, in a pleasant neighborhood on the street that the Irish playwright Samuel Beckett called home. Big thumbs up!
