Just don’t. We stayed nearby. It was late and other places had already closed so we had no choice. In retrospect, it was better to buy TV dinners from a supermarket. The«Ma Po Tofu» had zero spiciness and the tofu pieces were still hard and tasted raw — They definitely did not cook the tofu long enough and it was clear to see the sauce was added afterwards instead of cooked together with the protein. The shrimp in spicy sauce was overcooked, rubbery and skimpily-portioned for the price. The third dish was a soup that had flavorless broth. I couldn’t even remember what else was in it as it was that awful. Overall everything was bland, unmemorable and actually quite overpriced considering they are of worse quality than«take out» Chinese food. Avoid at all costs.

After an entire morning of sightseeing, we were hungry. We stumbled upon this Chinese restaurant purely on accident when trying to avoid the rain. Free wifi, I believe, although it was due to our airbnb owner having a specific wifi username and password. Prices are a little higher than what I’d been seeing in Paris, but this is in a more touristy area. We ordered: Phở Soup Chop Suey Vegetables Roast Duck with Five Scents Fried Noodles with Pork Shrimps Spicy Sauce Phở soup was awful. No flavor in the broth as it traditionally should be. All the other dishes were at about par and were nothing to rave about. I wonder if their westernized food would have tasted any better. Overall, I may have chosen to eat somewhere else. But since prices were overall lower, this is still a solid choice for an affordable lunch.
