The place has gone downhill but in a bizarre way. I remember the cow as being a grungy, divvy dump that served lots of cheap liquor and shitty bar food. It was never very busy cause it just had this constant stream of scuzzy locals, Chiefs, old timers and curious sailors looking to visit the legendary Horse and Cow. But starting last year they really cleaned her up. It’s still dimly lit but that’s probably so you won’t notice all the new beer selections or the updated(higher) prices. They also added a mechanical bull several years ago probably because their dance floor that used to host half naked jello wrestling isn’t pc anymore. By the way they also removed the open shower stage to the right of the bar. What really struck me though is how they now charging for mayonnaise. The local girl behind the bar said mayo for dipping was $.25 per ramekin. «I don’t make the rules,» is what she said when I protested. The once legendary bar where newly pinned sailors would drink their fish has become another watered down whitewashed attraction on a remote island you probably don’t need to visit before you die.

A nice place to hangout with a big group. Good for any type of occasions. Big televisions are available too. Mechanical riding bull is also a must to try. Shows and a lot of good chicken wings that go on $ 0.35 per wing on a Thursday. Mostly military and some locals. Nice and clean place.

Awesome atmosphere, people and specials. Horrendous service, like 25 minutes to get a beer. Servers are cool but swamped. H&C needs to hpay for some hospitality management training. Call GCC!

Every time we went to this bar, we were disappointed! The last straw was when I took my husband in a Sunday early afternoon for a beer. There was one guy working the bar and about 40 people there to enjoy the drink specials! Took us a good 30 minutes to get a beer and about an hour to pay for it! I was in Guam for three months and went to this place about 4 times.)Met my Friends there as I would not have chosen this place!) Long wait time for beer and food. Had to send the food back, some was over cooked and the mozzarella cheese sticks were still cold in the middle! Guess if you are wanting to experience the submariner bar, you will enjoy this. Lots of great memorabilia.

Submariner bar. That is to say, this bar is dedicated to those of us who serve onboard submarines. This place is an American legacy. Jeremy, Mike, and their dad have been supporting our«unique breed» of sailors for many years. Come here for the GREATFOOD, GREATBEER, and GREATCOMPANY!!! You don’t HAVE to be a sub sailor to come here, but it will help you understand the décor.

A must go to place if you are a Submariner. Lots of cool memorabilia here to take a look at. Pretty good beer selection and lots of good bar food. Food was a little overpriced but it was all good. Service was mediocre, we sat at a table and had to walk up to the bar any time we wanted more beer, our waitress never attempted to bring us refills or take drink orders.

Great place to chill out with some friends, grab a beer with some hot wings? Darts, pools, and some other table games you can play with friends and during weekends, you can ride Bulls! Spacious, all kinds of alcohols, lots of military crowds but during the weekday early in the evening, it’s not too crowded and people are usually friendly especially the bartenders and waters were super helpful to accommodate our needs. I would definitely recommend this place to both locals and tourists who come visit here in Guam.

It’s fine, bar and bar food, service is in no real hurry but the atmosphere is nice and relaxed

Going into a bar you can’t really expect great service especially a crowded one none the less. However after a decently big order I gave my waitress the food was back in less than five minutes. But just as I am surprised about the service it takes a turn somehow our waitresses switch mid meal and friend is waiting 20 minutes for his wings! I would go back for the wings special night but never for any other night.

i enjoy the atmosphere of the place, pretty much a watering hole for old navy heads, enlisted and some locals. the wings are pretty good about six or seven different flavors and they have happy hour everyday from 4−7pm and half-price wings and certain sandwiches, all in all i would go back again and i will in the future.

Be prepared to walk into the world of submarines. This place is a shrine to those who have served on board a submarine. There is also other military artifacts hung on the walls, but not nearly as much as subs. The food is pretty damn good –for bar food. I had some wings which were pretty tasty, and cheap! The burgers are huge and juicy. The bartenders also really know how to make a drink. — Ask for a shot of the«nukewaste»…
