I love coming here and having Venus serve me! She has one of the best customer service skills within this establishment! When I come here I always love seeing Monica and her.
Venus has really confidence with the menu. I’m a regular here, but when I bring a new comer to Apple bees, she guides them through the menu and offers exactly what they want.
One thing that Apple bees is know for, is their happy hour menu, although that have changed most of the things on the menu (I wish they had their burgers still on their happy hour menu) it’s still has a lot of great things to look for.
As for the cons, I would say the consistency of their alcohol beverages. Sometimes they make them perfect, but during their busier hours I feel like the quality isn’t always there. One of their favorite drinks to get that isn’t on their happy hour menu, is the MANO SUMMER SQUEEZE! If you come here and want a nice, refreshing slushy drink, I highly suggest you give it a try!

First came in was greeted and within 10 minutes had my drink orders in. Great salad bar, order from the menu and the salad bar is an additional $ 6.99. Great price! I ordered the honey BBQ wings and was not disappointed!!! Very delicious and my daughter ordered the chicken fingers and loved them as well, my husband ordered the fajita wraps and was pleasantly surprised at the level of flavor. Only con I have is that the side of fries was not that generous. Then we ordered the shot of dessert and unfortunately they were out of the cheesecake dessert shot. Overall, a four level experience due to the lack of amount of food for the price. If they didn’t have a salad bar I really wouldn’t come back here. Our waitress was Mariah and she was really nice and laughed at all my husbands jokes. Good job.

My recent experience wasn’t all that great. Food was good as usual. Service is usually good based on my previous but after my recent one… Not so great. I mean really… I get it. The server was «new» but that doesn’t mean that we should wait 30 to 40 minutes to asked what we wanted to drink and wait another 10 minutes to be served our drinks. And then there was no straws for the drinks until my group of friends I was with asked. We waited another 20 minutes for the extra plates we asked for since my group were planning on sharing our appetizers. The worse part for the experience was the server never gave back the change to one of my friends… My suggestions to Applebee’s would be that they need to train the servers to be more efficient with customer service and time management. Enough with the flirting with cute guys and focus on your other customers that are the reason you are hired to work for.

Friendly staff and pretty good food. The ambience of this place is pretty good. Good for kids too because there’s a television that they can watch. They also give some coloring paper and crayons for kids. There are also some tables ours die if you want to smoke or just be on the outdoor setting.

I’ve been here a few times and all visits were great until this time around. It wasn’t our food but our service that was an issue. From forgetting my request for an extra side to not giving my my change and assuming it was tip.
Overall great food and will come back. Maybe just not the same server.

happy hour prices are pretty decent but service needs major work. once they bring your food to you, good luck trying to get their attention. menus also need a goooooood wipe down. my menu still had food bits and sauce from previous patrons. gross
food wise– clam chowder is good, double battered wings were good (I recommend getting the sauce on the side) calamari and fried green beans were very good but chicken kelaguen on the salad bar was salty however they were nice enough to swap it out for a less salty batch.

Not your typical Apple Bees from the mainland. Best value is there share menu, where you can mix and match appetizers. Beef kelaguin, saracha shrimp and mini ribs were all good. Wait staff is very friendly and attentive.

so apparently this has become the watering whole for 18 – 30 somethings. its pretty much the new Ralphy’s but with better food and even worse lighting sadly no matter how many long islands you have here she still wont look any better.

Service during happy hour is extremely slow. Why am I waiting 30 min for a BEER?
Asked for a burger medium… came out almost rare.
Ordered nachos — not that great.
I will say TRY THE WONTON TACOS. And even tho happy hour is slow – they offer really good deals on drinks and bar food.
Atmosphere is great but our waiter hardly ever checked up on us.

Going here was a mistake. My friends and I tried it and were met with poor service (food took 30 – 40 minutes to arrive for both main course and dessert after reminders), rude wait staff who waved us off and proceeded to talk to each other in the corners of the restaurant when we tried to get their attention, and cold, salty food which on top of only being warm on the tops were mutually agreed by all parties present tasted like it had been microwaved.
So please, love yourself.
Don’t make the same mistake we did.

So I will admit prior to writing this review, I am little bias on Applebee’s. I truthfully never really enjoyed Applebee’s while I lived on the mainland. I think it is because I never understood the difference between Chili’s and Applebee’s. Both restaurants are so similar and the only thing that sets them apart is their service. Again, this is just my opinion.
I actually enjoy Applebee’s menu though. As mentioned by another reviewer, the WON TON TACOS is a must try. (Yes, I am screaming at you to try the tacos!!) I also enjoyed the quesadilla burger. It has a Tex-​Mex taste to it and is simply delicious. The most intriguing part of their menu is the different flavors that you can add in your tea. I had kiwi-​iced tea and it was extremely gross. However, I can now say I tried it. The service at this restaurant was so-​so. I had to ask for honey muster twice, but they did refill our drinks rather quickly. (Yay, for kiwi-​iced tea.)
This restaurant, as a whole, was all right. It was nothing special and nothing extraordinary about it. It was a plain Applebee’s directly next to a Chili’s.

Prices and seating is comfortable. Whereas some people had poor customer service reports I had the opposite – but not in a good way.
Our food did not take ling to arrive and it was tasty but out server constantly came to check on us. Our party could not have an entire conversation without interruption.
I wouldn’t return if I could help it, but I would recommend people to try it once.

I had dinner here today for the first and last time. I used to be a server so I’m pretty understanding when it comes to slow service or food but tonight was just horrible service.
First, my bf asked our server about happy hour. She said something about it being in the 80s section-​so I assume she meant the bar and the tables around it. Please realize your customers don’t know your table numbers/​sections.
Second, I asked our server if she could tell us how big the bbq chicken flatbread is as we wanted to share. Her response? «It’s as big as our white plates.» I’ve never been there before so I have no idea how big your white plates are.
Third, after our orders were taken, we never saw our server again until she picked up our check– which of course we had to ask a passing server to bring to us. So in other words, other servers brought us our food, we had to ask someone for a refill (even though multiple servers passed our empty cups) and condiments, and not once were we checked on to see if everything was ok.
All in all, the food wasn’t bad but the service will prevent us from returning.

We got invited over for a birthday celebration over at Applebee’s. It been a month and a half ago. My wife and I were excited that its a new place built here in Guam that we haven’t tried. Been hearing a lot that it is well known in mainland US but never really got to try and now finally one here on island.
We went on a Saturday night. I guess its a busy night. The parking lot was packed and so was the place. Glad that we didn’t wait long to get our seatings. The server was polite and enthusiastic that we felt comfortable. We ordered some appetizer which I think are a bit expensive and so was with the main menu and other items.
Their menu includes steak, burgers, pasta and the like. Well we took the steak, Ours was portobello and cabermet sirloin which was just right but for the others who ordered new york strip, it was full of fat portions that they weren’t able to finish theirs.
All in all experience for me, though the service was good and the portions are big but at its current price, I wouldn’t think I’d be back anytime soon unless I’d get invitations.

I went to Applebee’s on a Wednesday night so it was not too busy.
The restaurant was clean and we were seated right away.
The server was friendly and took our orders pretty quick.
I was impressed but it was too soon. Our food came out 30 minutes later and it was cold. I think we were forgotten because I had to ask how much longer till we got our food. After I asked, our food came right out… again cold! Kinda like it was sitting for awhile.
The food was average, taste was average, but the prices they were charging were anything but average. Prices were about 12% higher than mainland U.S. prices but quality not even close.
Service after our orders were taken was non existent.
Be aware that a 10% service charge is added to your bill so unless you receive excellent service, don’t feel the need to add more tip.
This was my first and last time eating in this establishment. Best bet would be to go to Kings Restaurant.

Fantastic food and drink specials in the bar area for happy hour!!! All the staff has been very friendly every time we have been there. The first time we went was right after the grand opening, you could tell they were still getting into their groove, every visit since has been on point.

Solid food — lots of choices — happy staff, nice atmosphere.
Everytime I eat there, I get seated next to people of my same ethnicity. Do they not know that Guam is Guam — racism is a joke here.

Bad service! I waited for my food for an hour and a half. They mistook my order which made the waiting longer. Our waitress was so rude. We had a difficult time getting her attention.
Overall, bad service and salty food.

I visit Guam quite often and was excited to hear that Applebees was finally open. I enjoy going there on my mainland trips and it is one of my sons favorite places. I opted to take my co-​worker to lunch here today against her better judgement. She had been here with a friend right after they opened and they ended up leaving because they couldn’t get served. It turns out a month later that still remains true.
The food quality was good and we enjoyed the food, however the service was terrible.
We were promptly seated by the hostess, but no one even came by to greet us. We waited about 10 mins until we finally asked a passing employee who our server was. She said she would get our server right over, well another 5 mins went by before she finally came. She took our order and we waited another 5 minutes for drinks to come. Our food order came out pretty quickly. We asked for mayo and there are no condiments on the tables here, including salt and pepper, we also asked for ketchup. We waited so long we decided to start eating. The condiments came about half way through our meal. We had 3 drink refills, no one ever offered refills so we had to ask for each one of them. We completed lunch and our server came by and asked if we wanted her to clear the table and we said sure. We sat there for 10 minutes wondering if she was going to come by with our check. She never did come we had to ask someone to bring it. I reviewed the receipt and saw that they added an automatic 10% gratuity for this rotten service. I definitely do not plan to return any time soon.

Tonight was my first visit to Applebee’s. Everyone I spoke with, prior to my visit, about the restaurant had negative things to say. However, my experience was quite different. I ordered the Quesadilla Burger which was absolutely delicious. Then tried the brownies with ice cream for dessert and loved it as well. The service was great since I noticed that all the servers were assisting us and they were all genuinely nice and funny. My only issue that can be easily fixed is that the cocktails I ordered tasted watered down. Overall, great experience and would definitely go there again.
