Tried the lunch only. Fun ambience. Friendly service. Food is ok for a Jap restaurant in Hong Kong. The assorted tempura comes in quite big portion during lunch time. May be worth returning for evening drinks and dinner.

Nothing better than no expectation when you explore a new spot. Ground floor down all the clubs and cut off from decent dinning experience. We came as a large group for drinks and dinner on weekday night. Arrived early and accidentally get the happy hour buy-one-get-one free deal! How lovely. Beautifully loaded in layers with all imported sake and whisky from Japan. I had a Hokkaido which tells you it is milky, sweet and cute. Their classic Amazake cocktail is a whisky, vodka based drink, resembles Long Island someway according to the staff. All the drinks we tasted are light but perfect for gal’s gossip. We all starving monsters cannot stop ordering. Fried chicken, fried potato, pork belly robotanyaki, chicken liver, Kagoshima wagyu and kinoko mushroom with fried rice, froi gras fried rice, assorted magic mushroom all reached decent level. Though it has no surprise to trigger you recall any signature or characteristics. I will give it a 4 star as the bill is so reasonable! Call me cheap or whatever. Dinning in Central is a love-and-hate story. Here they don’t over poor you with ridiculous bottles and the food is perfect to go with small or big bites. You still keep your wallet heavy by the time you leave. ;)

Went on a weekday and stayed from 730 till 10 to take advantage of happy hour till 9(all drinks except whisky). Place was quite empty throughout so it was a good quiet environment. Cocktails were ok — tried the Amazake and Ginger Highball. Personally liked the Sapporo draft and Yoichi(only $ 75) more. Friendly service.
