Ambiance/décor-3 Service-5 Food-4 Strikeouts-1/3 For me, the food style is a lot of nostalgia, so this review is a bit biased. Everything I had here was better than what I’ve ever had in Toronto Surprisingly. The restaurant layout is very standard. Hard to give it a low rating, or a high rating. Service was also a bit biased too, since my extended family are«regulars». Service was top notch. However, this restaurant gets a strike since my uncle said he called them multiple times to confirm if we were coming for out reservation. It shows the demand, but not very professional in my opinion. The first plate is the cold meats with tofu underneath. The a chiu chow style appetizer of deep fried fish, fried tofu?, and scallops. Every dish was delicious, and I really liked the oyster omelette. It was surprisingly a lot of oysters meat inside! I have a big sweet tooth, so the dessert was my favourite, crispy taro with a sweet shell exterior. I’m not a big fan of taro, but the candy outside was simply delicious!
