HMV Kafé

Little secret café in the middle of Central with actual seats. Who’d have thought HMV is still a cool place these days?
On one hand, I still had this distant memory that HMV was still located Central Building — ah, no, it’s already moved to Entertainment Building already. And how appropriate, finally some actual entertainment there.
It’s a bit difficult to get to HMV, to be fair. But once you are there. Boom, coffee shop quite openly integrated with the rest of the HMV shop. What are they selling these days? I don’t really know, but the café looked cool. With vinyl records (of recent albums) as wallpaper.
But the most amazing thing is how it’s relatively unknown to people. Surely you don’t want to have an interview here to get into an investment bank. But hey, perfect for quick casual catch up meetings. With a bit of upbeat music too, but it’s never too loud that you can’t hear each other.
Coffee was good, finally some stores appreciate the beauty of piccolo. Definitely coming back for more meetings. Don’t tell anyone!
