I love wine so when my cousin decided to bring me here one night for happy hours, i was excited and my excitement paid off. Granted the bar manager is French so we got along right off the bat but still, its a lovely hole-​in-​the-​wall sort of place. (yes many French expats come here including me.)
LQV located in Wanchai near Admiralty is a popular place for expats and locals alike. Mostly frequented by bankers (it is located next to their work), it has a quaint and homie feeling to it.
Serving mostly French wines, it offers very good selection and tasting menu. The cheese and meat platter are delicious and each time, i’ve had drinks there, i’m always assured for a good time.
We booked the whole place one for a meeting and service was superb. They even offer discount if you buy bottles to take away.
The shop is small so if you feel like trying a place away from the main street thats more discreet and simple, look no further and try LQV.
